Automation and AI integration enhance performance and user experience
The improvements or enhancements I would like to see in Blue Prism Cloud revolve around further developing server-client architecture, focusing on centralized control for remote agents. I believe more capabilities in that area could be beneficial. At the moment, I don't recall any specific features or functionalities missing from Blue Prism Cloud that come to mind. In terms of complexity, I find that Blue Prism Cloud is somewhat straightforward to use. Flexibility-wise, it engages well with Microsoft-based technologies. However, there are challenges with OCR capabilities that remain an issue. While there are readily available features that work well, the effectiveness does depend significantly on the type of use case I am implementing.

Simplifies integrations and is suitable for large companies
Sometimes, when our company develops using the latest technology, the knowledge is not yet cycled down to the tool's support team. The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool. The promotion of a feature before it is mature may cause issues, and I feel that sometimes the deployment of such features is a little too early. The tool will release a feature, but it will have bugs in it. We face challenges because the tool's team doesn't have the knowledge to deal with the issues in the product's new features. When SAP develops something, if the tool's team doesn't know how to support it, it becomes a problem because now we have to access developers to get the information that is not readily available.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"This solution comes with a lot of good features."
"We used it for process automation."
"Decipher has been a valuable feature that many of our clients use to extract information from documents."
"With Blue Prism, I like the feature that you build, I don't know the exact name now, but blocks or standards can be reduced later. You configure, for example, the CRM system, and you create a standardized manner of inputting data into the CRM system that you can reuse later. I'm not sure what that's called, but I enjoy it whether it's a feature or not."
"It’s scalable."
"The primary focus lies in integrating the three major cloud platforms with Blue Prism Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and GCP. This integration goes beyond security measures for the primary template policies. It also includes addressing compliance requirements. For instance, I can incorporate specific compliance templates and policies generated in Blue Prism and integrate them with local templates for ISO 27001 and GDPR, particularly concerning software tools and headsets. This integration eliminates the need for auditing and reviewing technical details individually. Instead, I can simply examine the container report. This approach proves beneficial when clients heavily rely on container environments."
"The solution is very complete. It's a good solution, for the kind of features that they offer."
"If I look at the top four, I believe it is far more user-friendly than the other competition."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it offers an integrated development environment."

Cons

"Blue Prism Cloud is a solid product that fulfils its intended functions well. Although there is room for improvement, it has integrated various cognitive and intelligent document processing features into a single product. But needs to effectively automate RPA processes despite some initial challenges addressed through product updates and new features."
"They should work on the solution's pricing."
"If Blue Prism could integrate into Azure SQL because it's essentially an on-prem code, on infrastructure as a service. So, Blue Prism has moved the infrastructure into the cloud, but they haven't necessarily moved the application into cloud-native."
"Blue Prism could be more efficient in its resource use. Having one LPR agent per virtual machine wastes resources. If we could execute many applications at the same time, it would improve and optimize the resource used."
"The issue is that it is not dynamic or intelligent."
"There is room for improvement in the speed."
"Blue Prism Cloud needs to improve support, though documentation is available online. It is not detailed, which does not help."
"Several things need improvement, like ease-of-use, adding tended robots, adding process recording, and updating the look and feel so it seems modern."
"The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing for Blue Prism Cloud is two out of ten because it's higher than every other technology. My company is on a three-year Blue Prism Cloud license."
"Blue Prism comes at a higher price point compared to other solutions on the market."
"I would rate the pricing a five out of ten, with one being cheap and ten being expensive."
"I am not sure how we are set up today, but I recall we had an annual License."
"There are costs for the machine to run the robots."
"Annual licensing costs were somewhere between $5,000 - $10,000 for the development tool. For the control tower, I think fees were about $50,000 annually."
"Blue Prism Cloud's cost is very high."
"This solution comes at a medium to high price point. They need to work on their pricing to enable smaller enterprises to get the benefit of using the product."
"The product is not cheaply priced."
