Automation and AI integration enhance performance and user experience
The improvements or enhancements I would like to see in Blue Prism Cloud revolve around further developing server-client architecture, focusing on centralized control for remote agents. I believe more capabilities in that area could be beneficial. At the moment, I don't recall any specific features or functionalities missing from Blue Prism Cloud that come to mind. In terms of complexity, I find that Blue Prism Cloud is somewhat straightforward to use. Flexibility-wise, it engages well with Microsoft-based technologies. However, there are challenges with OCR capabilities that remain an issue. While there are readily available features that work well, the effectiveness does depend significantly on the type of use case I am implementing.

Simplifies integrations and is suitable for large companies
Sometimes, when our company develops using the latest technology, the knowledge is not yet cycled down to the tool's support team. The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool. The promotion of a feature before it is mature may cause issues, and I feel that sometimes the deployment of such features is a little too early. The tool will release a feature, but it will have bugs in it. We face challenges because the tool's team doesn't have the knowledge to deal with the issues in the product's new features. When SAP develops something, if the tool's team doesn't know how to support it, it becomes a problem because now we have to access developers to get the information that is not readily available.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the speed at which we are able to implement solutions that can interact through the user interface in the same way that a human being would."
"Blue Prism Cloud is an easy to access and user-friendly solution."
"With Blue Prism, I like the feature that you build blocks or standards that can be reused later, for example, you configure the CRM system and create a standardized manner of inputting data into the CRM system that you can reuse later."
"If you are a company that is looking for a solution that is easy to deploy, this would be the perfect solution for you."
"We can save on staff costs by automating processes."
"Its AI features allow customers to find specific documents via an index."
"I would say that the stability of Blue Prism is superior to any of the competing products because of the maintainability of the features and the openness of the tool."
"It works well, allowed for easy access, the usability is good, and it’s scalable."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it offers an integrated development environment."

Cons

"The pricing was a bit high, from what I understand. That might have played a role in the decision to migrate to another solution."
"It would be useful if some of the information protocols came built within the app instead having to create them."
"Blue Prism might consider adding package options to allow users to come onboard in different ways that meet their needs rather than buying in to the whole package."
"Blue Prism is slightly difficult for the non-technical user."
"Decipher, one of their solutions, is a waste of time."
"Selecting the right business processes that are stable enough to automate can be challenging."
"The vendor does not make their pricing clear when you are searching for it, which is something that needs to be improved."
"Blue Prism Cloud's pricing needs to be improved because it is a little bit more costly than other automation tools like UIPath."
"The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing of the solution is on a subscription-based model and costs around 4,999 for one bot's license. If someone wants to increase the number of bots you want from Blue Prism, then they provide a discount."
"Pricing can be negotiated in situations where there will be heavy usage."
"It is highly-priced."
"There are many RPA solutions available from different vendors and the pricing for Blue Prism is competitive."
"This solution comes at a medium to high price point. They need to work on their pricing to enable smaller enterprises to get the benefit of using the product."
"The pricing is fine."
"Blue Prism comes at a higher price point compared to other solutions on the market."
"The price is very competitive when you are comparing to other providers."
"The product is not cheaply priced."
