I have found the most valuable feature of Cisco Enterprise Routers to be the simplicity of the command-line interface, it is very intuitive as to how the commands need to be configured for a specific use case.
Cisco Enterprise Routers deliver robust, stable performance with high reliability and security features, excelling in routing protocols like MPLS and BGP. They offer scalability and configuration flexibility but come at a higher cost with complex licensing and challenging setup. Security features like firewalls and VPNs need improvements. While technical support is strong, regional service gaps, particularly in sanctioned areas, exist. Despite the challenges, they are recommended for excellent network performance.
