Provides a lifetime warranty, is reliable, has good technical support, and includes security features
The stability is excellent. It comes with a lifetime warranty. Even if you're going through a difficult patch. If there is a failure in that scenario, it is very minor. We were never encountered that, but If it happens, it's probably due to a web party, such as a power fluctuation. Even our power supply includes a hardware replacement. As a result, there are no issues with the even power supply's lifetime warranty. In the general market, other competitor products, the power supply will not be covered, even though we are covering the power supply with a hardware replacement warranty. Which is where we have an advantage. Security features are included.

Reliable Wi-Fi deployment handles extreme conditions and reduces maintenance
The only bad downside to Ruckus Wireless WAN is that the guest network is poorly conceived. This is a known issue. There are ways to make the guest network work reliably, but not as promised. That's the only downside to Ruckus Wireless WAN access points - they have a weak guest system and guest portal, but everything else is the best of the best. If I did not have access to Ruckus Wireless WAN support, I think I would have failed. One downside they have now is that you no longer have access to the support folks without a contract. That has changed over many years. That would be really unfortunate because I remember struggling. The company was very hungry at that point and they were very willing to help. Now support requires a contract. That comes with all growing companies.

Cons

"Alcatel-Lucent Teldat needs to reduce its price."
"I would like to see something for remote working."
"The price could be reduced."
"I would not consider this solution to be stable."
"Pricing could be improved in Ruckus Wireless WAN because obviously, everybody wants things to become cheaper. Another room for improvement in the product is from a delivery perspective, particularly the heavy delivery delays because of the chip shortage that a lot of manufacturers have to deal with. The chip shortage is not coming to an end, but Ruckus Networks has to make a plan because the ETA has slipped out from the average of three months on switches to fourteen months, which is very, very rough on the industry at the moment. Ruckus Wireless WAN could lose business to Chinese competitors, for example, HTC has a good wireless solution that I haven't tested yet, other than on POC, and it works great. I haven't yet experienced the HTC wireless solution in large deployments, so you never know how it's going to go, but HTC has managed to circumvent the chip shortage, so the ETA provided by HTC is much more preferred than the ETAs provided by Ruckus Networks, Cisco, and Aruba products."
"They could include a firewall feature in the next release but even there it's not really necessary"
"The solution needs to offer more analytics."
"I would like to see IoT device support available with WiFi six. IoT is used by all businesses. They are now using IoT devices. It is required."
"The controller could be made less complicated, so those who are less technically sound can maintain it."
"The solution could be more stable."
"Sometimes, you can't do everything you need on the GUI."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution's licensing costs are one-time. It is not expensive. I rate its pricing a four out of ten. It provides us with a lifetime warranty."
"There is a one-time licensing fee. There is no need to renew it."
"I don't find this solution expensive but pricing is relative."
"I rate the product's price a seven on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"Compared with Cisco Wireless WAN, the pricing for Ruckus Wireless WAN is two out of five. Ruckus Wireless WAN is twice the price of Cisco Wireless WAN."
"I rate the tool's pricing a seven out of ten."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"Here in India, Ruckus is chosen often because it is priced low."
"It is less expensive than Aruba and Cisco."
"Licensing for Ruckus Wireless WAN when you compare it to other vendors, it's on par and not expensive. For me, all licensing is expensive by default, but you do get lifelong licenses, and what's cool about it is the license for Ruckus Wireless WAN, especially on the LAN controller, is not linked to an access point. It's just a quantity access point deployment, so you can rip out old APs, and put new ones in and they'll work on the wireless LAN because the license is not linked to a specific access point which is much easier to work with."
"You have to pay for the controller with Ruckus, whereas with Ubiquiti, it comes for free."
