Good storage, great for smaller companies, and has impressive support
We're all aware that the pandemic accelerated digital transformation, and we believe that Alibaba, due to its pedigree, has what it takes to take small businesses to the cloud. It's a game-changer, for sure. The storage is very useful. It is easy to set up. Technical support is good. It is quite stable.

Very good security features for strengthened data protection
I am not going to speak to their roadmap. Amazon operates Bedrock as an ecosystem supporting third-party models. I am speculating here, but I am sure those third-party models will always be present. However, one must consider that Amazon native models could proliferate Bedrock in the future. We would welcome Amazon native models to Bedrock, since, if they are natively built by Amazon, they are tuned to SageMaker and other Amazon service layers. They have done this somewhat for generative AI, however, in AgenTek AI business, the only foundation models we can rely on for scaling now are the Cloud 3.5 models like Haiku and SONNET, designed for low latency and complex AI business use cases.

"The installation is easy."
"The cost of hosting the solution is very reasonable. It's quite inexpensive."
"ECS is the most valuable feature of the solution."
"We use the product for storage and as a VPN."
"We use the solution to run VMs."
"The product's initial setup phase was easy for me since I had a background in cloud products."
"It is a scalable product. So, scaling up or scaling down is possible."
"Bedrock offers various foundational models in one place."
"Amazon Bedrock offers an environment where we only pay for the model we use, and AWS handles the scaling."
"The no-code application of the service is beneficial since it allows creating solutions without extensive coding knowledge."
"Overall, I rate Amazon Bedrock ten out of ten."
"Amazon Bedrock is easy to use and practical, allowing for quick development."
"The most beneficial aspect of Bedrock is its pool of models to choose from, catering to specific needs."
"Amazon Bedrock is an artificial intelligence engine that allows me to upload analyses of the quality of customer support calls."
"The most valuable feature of Bedrock is its security and the model's ability to modify vector dimensions easily."

Cons

"From the improvement point of view, there are lots of issues that we are facing. In all the areas, it seems like it is not mature. For example, a customer wants to provision some VM that has many configurations. If I want to show the price to the customer, it is very challenging. The SDK that Alibaba has provided is very limited. We can have the pricing for VM, but we cannot have pricing for RDS databases or some other services. This is a big concern area for us. They should put more effort into the SDKs or APIs that they provide, for example, pricing APIs or pricing SDK. They do not provide support for most of the services they provide. For example, if I want to get the price of MongoDB, that SDK is not available from Alibaba. Similarly, robust API support is required for S3, which is OSS or Object Storage, so that we can read the data in a faster manner, for example, in chunks. We have raised many issues with the Alibaba support team, and they have been fixing the issues after we report them."
"From a performance point of view, Huawei and Azure are faster. Alibaba isn't as good."
"The solution needs to improve its graphical user interface."
"Alibaba Cloud needs to increase availability in Thailand."
"The solution should have more integration."
"It is not robust."
"The flexibility of the solution could be improved."
"A big area for improvement in Alibaba Cloud is its support. Another area for improvement in Alibaba Cloud is SDK-based service because sometimes, the SDKs don't work correctly. Support for API-based services also needs improvement in Alibaba Cloud because, at the moment, it's not that stable."
"The advantage of Bedrock is not as an amazing enabler of AI platforms, yet we utilize it to deploy application services and microservices within Bedrock ecosystem and leverage prequalified foundation models like Claude and others."
"Overall, I rate Amazon Bedrock a seven out of ten. It is slightly difficult to integrate with our product."
"While working with Bedrock, I incurred charges that were not explicitly mentioned in the pricing documentation."
"There is a need for improved documentation, smoother integration, and possibly reduced prices given the competition."
"Amazon Bedrock is quite highly scalable, but there are some limitations they impose on the accounts, which could be an area for improvement."
"It would be beneficial if Amazon Bedrock could provide multiple responses to a query, allowing users to choose the best option."
"It would be beneficial if Bedrock were optimized for hyperscale use to avoid needing a mixed approach with SageMaker."
"The user interface of Amazon Bedrock on the management console needs improvements. It's very bland at the moment."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We cut our costs significantly by migrating our infrastructure to the cloud. Alibaba Cloud employs a pay-as-you-go model, so that minimizes many costs for us."
"Pricing for Alibaba Cloud is a little bit cheaper. It has reasonable pricing."
"The product is not that expensive."
"The cost is better than similar solutions."
"The solution's pricing is the same as AWS'."
"Alibaba Cloud is cheaper."
"The price of Alibaba Cloud is good. If I was to use Microsoft Azure I would have to pay 30 percent more."
"The cost of Alibaba Cloud is lower than that of AWS, but I feel that its price is on the higher end of the spectrum. Alibaba Cloud charges its users a price in dollars"
"One customer paid around $100 to $200 per month, which was significant given their overall infrastructure costs."
"The cost of using Amazon Bedrock is quite high, as I incurred unexpected charges amounting to $130 USD within two weeks without actually deploying the model."
