Proactive alert management enhances network security and provides peace of mind
The reporting is really good from what I've seen so far. They are on top of the alerts, especially the critical ones. This proactive approach to alert management ensures that if someone downloads something on a workstation that shouldn't be downloaded, they address it quickly. Their ability to identify and provide information on critical alerts is very valuable.

The best features Armis offers include the interaction with my manager in Brazil, whose first name is Rui, and who provided a lot of experience, especially Horácio, who used to work for Microsoft. Horácio helped with issues related to Active Directory and provided ideas on how to best integrate the solutions. The aspect of Armis solution that stood out to me was its flexibility to integrate different applications. The collaboration of the team is really important and key for the project to go well and bring the results the customer is looking for. The solution has the necessary resources and connectors that have built many of the rules needed for integration, regardless of whether the application is an Active Directory, an LDAP directory, a database, or even a specific solution such as SAP. It is also flexible enough to build the business rules that apply specifically to that customer. Armis has positively impacted my organization and my client's organization by ensuring that on day one, new users had all the access they needed to work for the applications that were integrated. Additionally, if a user was dismissed from the company, they would lose all access to the integrated applications because Active Directory, which was key for user authentication, would disable their account. I do not recall any specific statistics regarding measurable results, but there was positive feedback from managers concerning the process during the time I was there.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The customer support is incredible."
"We get access to quarterly reviews with their team."
"This solution has made huge strides in improving the awareness of our end users."
"The most valuable feature of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is being informed about what vulnerabilities there are exposed currently."
"The user-friendly interface and customizable reporting have helped our IT team interpret and act on the platform's insights."
"There are companies that do vulnerability scans. However, what adds value is when two experts come and sit with you to scan and patch the vulnerabilities. Any 50-member or small company that has an IT footprint carries risk from a cybersecurity perspective. These companies use tools but don't have the talent to leverage them."
"We have a patch management solution that scans for any patches that can be applied and then applies these patches, but it doesn't hit everything. It also doesn't find all misconfigurations and things like that. Arctic Wolf Managed Risk kind of fills in the gaps and makes us aware of vulnerabilities or misconfigurations that exist out there. It does an agent scan for software versions and compares them to what CVs are out there and lets us know."
"The user-friendly interface and customizable reporting helped our IT team interpret and act on the platform's insights because they did not have any problems using it."
"The initial setup and deployment were simple."
"Real-time asset monitoring in Armis helps with network operations, especially in comparison to Nozomi."
"Armis is very easy to implement due to its agentless design and offers a granular level of visibility for all assets in the network."
"The tool is user-friendly and helps to detect vulnerabilities."
"Armis is very easy to implement due to its agentless design and offers a granular level of visibility for all assets in the network."
"I find the most valuable features of Armis to be its focus on IT, OT security, and medical device security."
"It determines which assets and devices are at risk, alerts you if there's a risk, and categorizes all assets, including personal computers, mobile phones, servers, televisions, cars, and video game consoles."
"Armis is easy to use."

Cons

"The major area for improvement is the lack of a patch management feature to resolve some of the vulnerabilities detected."
"The major area for improvement is the lack of a patch management feature to resolve some of the vulnerabilities detected."
"The scalability could improve."
"The presentation of the data could be improved."
"The best way to take this product to the next level would be to implement a patch management solution."
"As far as the product is concerned, I would really like the scanning feature to let us know that a threat has been addressed once we apply the relevant patch. We are not seeing this currently when running a scan."
"There are some challenges with integrations in Arctic Wolf Managed Risk. Some integrations could be improved to enhance functionality."
"The presentation of the data could be improved. I believe they have significant room for improvement, particularly in making better analysis of the vulnerability data and presenting those data more effectively."
"After implementing Armis, an organization experiences it as an add-on. Without asset visibility or vulnerability prioritization, it becomes a useless product."
"Like any IT tool, continuous learning and improvement are essential for the solution."
"The vulnerability assessment for Windows is not that great. It misses out on a lot of vulnerabilities."
"We face issues during implementation."
"We have faced issues with the tool's stability."
"Armis doesn't have a back intel feature."
"We face difficulties in integrating the product with ticketing tools like ServiceNow."
"There are occasional issues with some built-in integrations that require troubleshooting, particularly with DHCP integration. Developing additional integrations would be beneficial."
