Has helped me create clean and structured process maps with a simple setup experience
I have not explored ways Bizagi can be improved beyond creating maps. If I explore automation and integration with other processes, then I may be able to identify potential areas for improvement. I would appreciate additional features for the free version. Currently, the elements in a process map are limited to activities, decisions, flows, and start/end points. The decision map could be improved to allow more than three options at a decision point.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Flexibility of development; the developer can use various JavaScript APIs for development and most or all of the components are plug and play, so customization is easily achievable most of the time."
"Bizagi is really great for beginners because it's user-friendly and you can learn in it quickly, whereas other similar software are harder."
"I think the main competitive advantage of Bizagi is its user-friendly environment that allows you to drag and drop BPMN elements on its surface."
"Bizagi is really helpful for us to justify a process improvement initiative because we can simulate a to-be process and see how much we can save time, save resources, and how a to-be or a new process can run in the correct logic based on BPMN modeling."
"I would recommend this solution because it's easy to use and very quick to install."
"Your team can work on it having basic training about databases and BPM modeling."
"One of the features I like is that when drawing any task, when putting a task on the process model canvas, I can simply click on it and see the other task icons for that task. It's just one quick, simple, straightforward connectivity from task to task."
"The user interface is pretty good."
"The natural notation is the best feature of Bizagi because it makes it compatible with other products."

Cons

"Yes, the servers are not as efficient as required."
"The speed of this solution needs to be improved."
"Bizagi has been aggressively adding features to maintain its market-leading position, however, in some cases, this has impacted the stability of certain product builds."
"Bizagi could be improved by more automation and machine learning. Now that I'm learning more about data analyzers, I'm realizing that many people have problems with data and how to understand them."
"I think that they could improve their update process. Some of the process mining techniques could be added to Bizagi. I think that they can improve their simulation abilities to include more elements of the BPMN."
"It is difficult to drive ROI on types of processes involving complex business rules."
"The gateway through which it connects with other vendors, specifically RPA vendors, is one aspect that could be improved."
"One thing that I don't like very much is related to integration: we have to develop some connectors... I would need a connector that connects to a REST service and that uses client ID in secret... They provide the means to develop a connector and use it, but they should implement this because REST services are among the most used protocols for web services."
"Bizagi allows for automation, but it's very complicated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We have no issues with the pricing."
"The modeling part of the software is free. Most of the time, it is used for this purpose."
"We use the free version of the solution because the price is in dollars, making it expensive for where we are in Brazil."
"I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
"This is a free solution."
"If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
"The Bizagi modeler can be downloaded free of charge."
"Some solutions are completely free. One would be the business process diagramming tool, the server beneath it, and the automation tool. You don't need to pay to map the business process, but you would need to when you want to execute any of the commands. So, basically, they lure you in with a free ride, and when you want to scale the solution, you'll have to pay for it."

What is your experience regarding pricing and costs for Bizagi?
Bizagi's pricing is very aggressive, and it was one of the reasons we chose it. It was less expensive than some of the other tools.
