A highly stable tool that needs to improve its security
The most valuable features of the solution stem from the fact that the tool provides security features, and AWS serves as a certificate of trust for its uses. The tool is easy to set up, and it secures your internet connection, so your IP address and email are not exposed over the internet since the VPN has the ability to mask the IP addresses of users after users get an Amazon ID to use for internet browsing.

Reliable remote access boosts productivity and connectivity for home-based users
In my opinion, the best feature that Check Point Remote Access VPN offers is its reliability, as there has been no downtime till now. The reliability of Check Point Remote Access VPN has positively impacted my daily operations by reducing my support tickets, particularly when users face connection issues due to ISP downtimes. Check Point Remote Access VPN has positively impacted my organization by providing users access to the internal network, allowing us to capture all activities through our network. The visibility offered by Check Point Remote Access VPN has benefited my organization as it detects unauthorized access attempts, immediately alerting me via a pop-up for any threat protection issues.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It is a very stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"Check Point Remote Access VPN provides strong security features, including encryption, authentication, endpoint security, access control, and centralized management."
"The solution implemented in the cloud allows us to easily scale in cases of user increase."
"The most valuable point is that it provides multi-factor authentication (MFA), which increases security by requiring an add-on verification method and ensures that only authorized users have access to the network."
"The complexity is hidden within a full mesh network, allowing seamless user-to-application connectivity with minimal delay."
"Once we install and connect the VPN service, it keeps on running until we disconnect."
"Among its most valuable features is how it quickly and easily connects everyone to the VPN service."
"The safety of online interactions when working with this product has enabled members to convene productive meetings without fear of being attacked."
"Check Point Remote Access VPN is very useful, reliable, and easy to install."

Cons

"Security is an area of concern in the product where the solution needs to improve."
"Improved scalability would allow the solution to handle larger numbers of users and devices without a significant impact on performance."
"The client-side UI is fundamental, and there is nothing to see."
"Generally, the license is included with the Check Point gateway licensing, however, in terms of the number of users that can be activated for use, it is generally five users."
"Without a doubt and with the new trends in technology, Check Point should already have a blade with a 2MFA solution and not through some other vendor."
"This is the best version we are using, however, if some changes can be made in the next release, I'd like to see adjustments to the time period and internet connectivity."
"There are some issues with the Check Point VPN, such as its complexity compared to other VPN clients."
"When you want to deploy a new Check Point agent, it is really a pain in the butt. For example, Windows 10 now has updates almost every couple of months. It changes the versioning and things under the hood. These are things that I don't understand, because I'm not a Windows person. However, I know that the Check Point client is installed on the Windows machine, and if the Check Point client's not kept up-to-date, then it's functionality breaks. It has to be up-to-date with the Windows versions. Check Point has to update the client more often. Now, the problem is that the Check Point client is not easy to update on remote computers and it's not easy to deploy a new client."
"I would like the support to be faster."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is not completely available for free, especially if you want to use certain features for which the cost is very minimal."
"The price of this product is good."
"Organizations that already have the Check Point NGFW need to purchase an additional license to have access to the VPN functionality."
"Check Point Remote Access VPN is not expensive and the cost is annual."
"The product is expensive. I rate its pricing a ten out of ten. For the cost of one product, we could purchase two or three Fortinet solutions with the same amount of money."
"I give the price of the solution a five out of ten."
"My understanding is that the pricing and licensing are very competitive, and it's not one of their more expensive products. We buy licenses for the solution and have licenses for the endpoint servers."
"There is a license required for this solution."
"The solution is pretty expensive. The rating is an eight."
