Consistent threat hunting and anomaly detection deliver valuable insights for network security management
In terms of improvement for Darktrace, pricing is the main concern. Pricing bothers me and this is one of the major factors when choosing a solution. When we get feedback from customers, that's the only felt need. When we factor in Darktrace, we do it only limited. We put it on where the perimeters and connections are, but still, some gray areas are left out, especially if we have multiple branches. We need Darktrace on each branch to get the data out, and I suggest having some kind of a centralized product that gets data from multiple sources to aggregate and provide the data.

Stable, scalable, and can be deployed on both cloud and on-premises

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the endpoint protection."
"The ability to see what we have not seen before is most valuable."
"I have found the automation and AI features to be valuable. If someone were to come in to the office at midnight and log in, Darktrace would flag it."
"What I like about Darktrace is that you can quickly identify threats."
"It is really good; it has given us a view of our company and it has actually caught a couple of people that were doing data exfiltration and stealing data from our company, and we caught them doing it in the act in live time, which is just incredible."
"The Dynamic Threat Dashboard is very nice, as it lists all of your threats and rates them, and then you can choose whether to investigate further."
"The active threat dashboard is the most valuable feature of this solution."
"The solution automatically monitors everything on the network to prevent anti-phishing by monitoring, responding, and restoring the system."
"The solution works both outside and on-premises of the company, thus preventing secondary breaches from reaching the company's data."

Cons

"The level of tracking within the network from the transmission level up to the machine level can use improvement."
"It would be good if they can include some endpoint protection for remote workers."
"It could build in integrations for some complementary products, but it has an assistant plugin so this is not really a big deal."
"A reporting portal could be a great addition to help customize reports."
"The price point for the product was too high for what our possible use case could be."
"Darktrace needs to automate the reports of false positives, botnets and everything."
"The solution's user interface and stability could be improved."
"We want to continue using Darktrace but it's very expensive."
"The cost of the solution has room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Darktrace is expensive. You can pay for the license yearly."
"It's an expensive solution."
"They are too expensive compared with other vendors."
"Darktrace is pricey, but the price is reasonable for what the solution does, and it's comparable to other products."
"The price of Darktrace is high and could be reduced. We pay approximately $30,000 to $54,000 annually."
"I'm unfamiliar with the exact cost, but we have a yearly license and had to pay for Darktrace's services before the deployment. The product is very expensive, so some organizations can't afford to pay the total amount directly, meaning they often seek a partner or pay in installments, which increases the price more."
"The pricing is quite high, estimated at around $350,000 per year."
"The pricing is a little high compared to the competition."
"The cost of the solution is mid-ranged but worth the price."
