A financial planning solution for healthcare that allows you to analyze information for future budgets
It's good because of the benefit it gives in relation to the cost. Other solutions are very expensive to deliver. The solution is a financial planning solution for healthcare, so it helps predict the budget for the next year. A lot of hospitals in Brazil are using Excel and manually calculating these things, so it provides a lot of benefit to clients. This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail. It gives you a good picture of the situation and helps you make a business decision. If the customer has any problems before, during, or after implementation, Ernst & Young help to solve the problem.

Managed detection has transformed investigations and now speeds up containment and response
The best features Huntress Managed EDR offers include 24/7 monitoring, process insight that we get while investigating any suspicious process or command line activity, and the child-parent process relationship. The containment actions allow us to take host isolation and assisted or automated remediation, which speeds up the removal of malicious files or persistence mechanisms and helps us identify attempts to survive the reboot, assisting in detecting persistent detections in the device. Most of the time, we rely on 24/7 SOC monitoring and investigation support. In my day-to-day activities, it helps me to continuously review the endpoint activity and validate suspicious detections, so I don't have to manually investigate every alert. This gives me more time to focus on genuine alerts or incidents and threat hunting and deeper investigations instead of wasting time on false positive alerts. Host isolation or remediation is very helpful because it helps us contain the confirmed threat quickly and reduce the risk of lateral movement. Huntress Managed EDR has a positive impact mainly through faster threat detection and reduced manual investigation effort. The 24/7 SOC gives us additional monitoring and validation, while the endpoint telemetry provides useful context for investigations. It also helps us contain and remediate threats faster, particularly when endpoint isolation or automated remediation is needed. Overall, it has improved our security response efficiency without requiring us to build a dedicated 24/7 SOC monitoring capability internally. Regarding outcomes, we have seen a measurable improvement in response time and analyst workload, with about 20 to 30% less manual effort for endpoint alert investigation response. For context, Huntress customer case studies report response times dropping from hours to 5 to 10 minutes in some environments. Huntress Managed EDR is quite easy to use, especially after the initial deployment. The agent is straightforward to deploy and handles much of the monitoring, detection, and response through the managed SOC. There is lesser day-to-day configuration for us. From an investigation perspective, the dashboard and endpoint telemetry make it fairly easy to review process activities, detection, isolation, and remediation. Overall, after using it for about a year, the learning curve is low and it is much less operationally demanding than managing a traditional EDR ourselves. From my experience, it has significantly reduced the alert triage workload. Instead of reviewing every endpoint alert, Huntress SOC continuously monitors, investigates, and filters out benign alerts, escalating the confirmed alerts with context. We do use the automation for remediation of low-severity threats. It has been particularly useful for things like PUPs and other minor malware artifacts because Huntress SOC validates the activity and can remediate it without waiting for our manual approval. From our operations perspective, it has reduced repetitive remediation work and allows us to focus on higher priority incidents.

Pros

"The main benefit of this solution is that you have intelligence and functionality behind the solution to predict numbers."
"This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail."
"What stands out most is their human element: when faced with an unknown threat, real people, not just automated processes, are investigating it, and they're people we trust."
"The automatic remediation feature of Huntress Managed EDR is very effective because at midnight, around 2:00 AM, if there is an alert while I am sleeping, I know my organization remains safe."
"It is a ten out of ten in terms of ease of use."
"Customer support has been good so far; for example, when we asked about the agent for Linux OS, they were really helpful."
"It catches things that no one else catches. We occasionally have things slip through antivirus and other things, but Huntress catches them. It is awesome as an additional layer of defense on top of other things."
"Using Huntress Managed EDR has helped reduce the need for expensive security tools and to hire expensive security analysts, which is important for our organization because it keeps the level of security heightened and across the top of all of our clients' minds."
"It is very easy to use. It is a great solution. They are one of the better vendors that I have ever worked with since I have been in the industry."
"Huntress helps us replace traditional antivirus solutions with an EDR. I like how easy it is to use and deploy. Support is good- they've responded quickly when I've had issues. I like it a lot so far. It reports valuable information and filters out things I don't need to know."

Cons

"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP."
"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP. If the company uses other kinds of systems to manage their information, it's a challenge because this product is integrated with SAP."
"Improvements for Huntress Managed EDR could include better integration with ticket systems, as the biggest problem seems to be that every new feature comes with an additional cost."
"My only potential complaint would be the user experience on Apple Mac OS, which I view as an Apple limitation rather than a Huntress issue."
"There are some drawbacks in Huntress Managed EDR, particularly with the security awareness training aspect which is more manual than expected compared to something like KnowBe4."
"Incident reporting could be a little bit cleaner."
"Using Huntress Managed EDR has not reduced our need for expensive security tools or hiring expensive security analysts, as we run redundancy and maintain all that in-house while Huntress serves as a partner, not a replacement."
"Ultimately, the clarity of their alerts is paramount for effective threat communication and could benefit from clearer remediation steps."
"Huntress Managed EDR could improve filtering for low-priority alerts and give more granular exclusion controls."
"There is always room for improvement with Huntress Managed EDR."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost is good in relation to the benefit."
"While other options have emerged since Huntress' arrival, I believe it still offers the best value for the features and services it provides."
"I rate the product's price a five or six on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive since it is a fairly priced product."
"The cost-effectiveness of Huntress is much better compared to BlackPoint. Although Huntress does not offer all the finer details that BlackPoint does, it remains much more competitive in pricing."
"Huntress is an easy sell to clients because it does all the heavy lifting. Sometimes, they will buck a little at the price because they want a free antivirus or EDR. We tell them that we use Huntress on all our machines. That is our standard process for all the machines we roll out. When we give that advice, people are pretty willing to say okay."
"Huntress Managed EDR offers a fair pricing model."
"Huntress is priced fairly for the services and value it provides."
"It is fair. They provide good value for the product that they deliver. I have had one price increase in the entire time I have used them. They added a bunch of features and then said that they have to increase our price a little bit. That is a fair way to handle it."
"It works well for an MSP."
