Enhanced security team efficiency and proactive threat management with room to improve alert management and cost-efficiency
There are several issues we are facing with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, including data overload, noise, and false positive alerts. We experience alert fatigue, contextual gaps, integration complexity, and timeliness of intelligence challenges in our environment. Areas that should be improved include noise reduction, prioritization, real-time delivery, and advanced threat coverage. The filtering algorithm should be improved to address these concerns.

A financial planning solution for healthcare that allows you to analyze information for future budgets
It's good because of the benefit it gives in relation to the cost. Other solutions are very expensive to deliver. The solution is a financial planning solution for healthcare, so it helps predict the budget for the next year. A lot of hospitals in Brazil are using Excel and manually calculating these things, so it provides a lot of benefit to clients. This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail. It gives you a good picture of the situation and helps you make a business decision. If the customer has any problems before, during, or after implementation, Ernst & Young help to solve the problem.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We found the initial setup to be quick and easy for the most part."
"Crowdstrike has better support than Carbon Black."
"The threat response from this solution is very comprehensive. It not only allows us to detect the threat, but also to isolate it and check the recovery capability of the compromised system."
"There are many different modules with this solution where vulnerability and inventory management can be carried out. The solution has a good dashboard and offers a lot of insights into your systems."
"It is an endpoint protection product. It has a very good reporting engine and dashboard. It has a good set of endpoint controls. It provides an effective set of protections. When we throw malware and stuff like that at it, it is able to stop them."
"The features I have found valuable are artificial intelligence, which protects us against malicious forces of any kind, and device control through the remote execution tool."
"Overwatch is the most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete."
"Their intelligence is really good. The security whitepapers that they write are outstanding. They handle it all for the clients. CrowdStrike Complete is managed by CrowdStrike. They only call a client if there is a problem that they can't address. They pretty much contain and eradicate. This is not something that every vendor provides."
"This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail."

Cons

"It really is an expensive product in the South African market. And they need people in our country. Their partner program isn't yet where it should be. They need a lot of work and there's a lot of improvement needed."
"The licensing is a bit complex."
"The solution could use an on-demand scan feature."
"Some dashboards can be very complex, but once you get to know them, it is very logical."
"It would be better if they offered other language options. It's only in English, and in Latin America, we mostly speak Spanish."
"Their endpoint solution is excellent. But I would like to see them improve their HDR, as well as their DLP (Data Loss Prevention)."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete could improve by having advanced features, such as SOC, and HDR. There would have been a lot of processes involved."
"We have also been using Cisco AMP for Endpoints for three years. We have received multiple detections in Cisco AMP for Endpoints, and we had to take some actions, whereas CrowdStrike has not detected anything critical since it has been implemented. Most of the incidents that it has detected are false positives. They should work on the false-positive issue. When it is implemented throughout the organization, it gets very difficult to check each false positive and investigate what is correct and what is not correct. It requires technical and manual intervention."
"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP. If the company uses other kinds of systems to manage their information, it's a challenge because this product is integrated with SAP."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing is reasonable."
"It is expensive, but looking at the capabilities that it brings, it is reasonable. There are no additional costs to the licensing costs. If you increase the number of licenses, support is included."
"It's expensive. Its price varies because it's a modular solution."
"While CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is expensive, it offers great features and functionality."
"Its price is very high. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is 50% more expensive than Cisco AMP for Endpoints."
"Falcon Complete isn't too pricy."
"While the cost is relatively high, it is justified by the value it brings."
"The licensing cost for this solution is $5000 per license, with each machine requiring its own license."
"The cost is good in relation to the benefit."
