Lightweight and extensible with great support staff
* Lightweight * Uses java standards * Can run in j2se or j2ee environments * Can run as embedded or standalone * Works with multiple db or in-memory * Great support staff * Extensible * Cluster(able) * Can integrate and be a major player in any SOA environmentFlux has made excellent design choices the benefits of which can be passed down to customers in terms of price and capability. I don't see any IT vendor rival this.

Has enabled secure, centralized file sharing while saving significant time and resources
The best features in GoAnywhere MFT are that it's fast, reliable, and secure. First, the improvement is that we have resolved one of our security points with compliance. So that compliance point we resolved. And also it's a centralized file sharing system. All the users are able to access the file. There is no one-to-one sharing. It's improved about 80 to 85%. It saves about 80 to 90% resources. In terms of time, we can say 90 to 95% time is also saved because it avoids the one-to-one sharing and simply a user can put one centralized directory and all the users are able to access this solution and access the file. So it's 95%.

Pros

"Excellent customer support"
"Flux has made excellent design choices the benefits of which can be passed down to customers in terms of price and capability."
"The automation of GoAnywhere MFT is the best thing about it, and the interface of this software is also really easy to use for me and my teammates, which really helps us transfer files within our organization securely and automates the whole process for us, making it really easy."
"When we first started using it, SecureMail, or the ability to securely send mail to end users, as a single file or as a package of files, was very helpful for sending large packets of files. We could not send that through traditional email."
"I will definitely recommend this product to other users because it's very easy to deploy, develop, and learn, and it's also more cost-effective than other products."
"If it's dealing with SFTP or any kind of secure transfer, we don't hear about it; it's good and everything works."
"The aspects I appreciate most about GoAnywhere MFT are that many things are all in one platform, as I can use it for file transfer, for security purposes, for audit purposes, managing files across my team, and managing automation-based tasks."
"All of it is valuable, but the most valuable would be the ability to release medical records without having a limitation for size and not having to deal with the fax machine."
"GoAnywhere MFT provides the best encryption mode in sharing files, which stands out for me compared to other solutions I have seen."
"In its class, I'd give GoAnywhere MFT a nine out of 10; it does what it does exceedingly well."

Cons

"It would be nice to have more file transform capabilities for transforming xml and csv documents."
"Need a better way to track a particular work item through multiple, independent workflows."
"The solution's built-in functions could be better; I want to see easier file transfers and management."
"The limitation with GoAnywhere MFT is that it primarily offers an upload option to SharePoint without allowing flexibility in terms of selecting and mapping SharePoint fields."
"The UI/UX of GoAnywhere MFT feels somewhat cluttered. Some of the options I need are in a very cluttered space, and I need to search for them frequently."
"Sometimes file sharing gets failed. Many of the users in the last week faced the issue that the files are not delivered."
"It would be helpful to have a way to actually have a job run without notifying the email addresses you have set up and without posting to the actual FTP... when you need to make a small change to a job that is deployed to production, and test that change, you have to go back and reset everything. It's not really a great way to test."
"GoAnywhere MFT has lower capabilities because it has limited features, but it serves its purpose."
"The product could be improved by being modular."
"The UI of GoAnywhere MFT could be a bit crisper because sometimes it gets tricky to find where to look for information."
