Gluu has a mobile app catering to field workers. Normal workers use the web app, a complete cloud-based solution. They log in on any device and access the system. Gluu filters and displays relevant information based on the user's role in the processes. Users can set it up to view as a viewer, worker, manager, or controller of the area. The front end offers different views but provides an easy dashboard for employees. On the dashboard, users can configure it to show tasks, related work instructions, and connected processes. It's very user-friendly, allowing end-users to understand their tasks and processes without needing in-depth knowledge.

Unified sign-in has simplified access control and has supported end-to-end identity lifecycle
The authentication process is good, but sometimes the responsiveness to requests for enhancement is very slow. I sometimes face issues with platform stability, flexibility in configuration, and limited API availability. I experience downtimes two to three times per year. OneLogin's support team is sometimes very slow to respond. There is a feature limitation with mapping, as OneLogin does not provide one-to-all mapping. For client deployment, we need to create separate mappings for each request, and we cannot use the same mapping for multiple requests. Other areas that have room for improvement are related to API limitations. If a client requires more APIs, such as 5,000 or 6,000, OneLogin charges more. The API rate limits by default or the standard limit should provide more than 5,000. Additionally, OneLogin could provide more flexibility in configuration. These are the main limitations I have identified with OneLogin.

Pros

"Gluu has a mobile app catering to field workers. Normal workers use the web app, a complete cloud-based solution. They log in on any device and access the system."
"Most of the features are related to banking within this particular IT industry. Security and the market are also important features."
"Since implementing OneLogin, the HR and IT teams save a significant amount of time, completing projects in one day that used to take one to two days."
"I am impressed with OneLogin as the main data entry point for accessing most websites from a secure login entity, which is why I could really recommend it to other enterprises."
"Overall it has resulted in a highly productive IT services organization."
"One aspect I particularly appreciate is their exceptional customer support whenever I've needed assistance."
"Documentation."
"OneLogin is efficient."
"Since implementing OneLogin, I have been seeing a significant reduction in login-related support tickets, approximately a 30% decrease."
"Security incidents have gone down because of the stronger authentication, and our IT team has saved a lot of time on access issues."

Cons

"I would like to see features around federation, authentication, authorization, and AI APIs with a ChatGPT interface."
"The tool integrates AI into the process modeling aspect. I believe this addition will significantly enhance usability. Additionally, it might be beneficial to have the capability to import content from other tools into this platform. Our platform follows its business process modeling notation standard, which differs from BPM. It uses a simpler notation, making it easier. The ability to import content from other tools could accommodate users accustomed to different standards."
"I think OneLogin is good, but it would be better if it could provide a mobile app that includes specific features, for example, to check logs or compliance."
"We've been experiencing some pain points since the acquisition. For example, there have been some outages we didn't see previously, which are a big topic with my executive team. You have hundreds of applications relying on this service for login. If the service is unavailable, nobody can log into these applications."
"Overall, OneLogin is solid, but we can implement some improvements with Active Directory connectors."
"I would like better reporting from SmartFactor Authentication when a user is not able to sign in due to a new location, new IP, new device, et cetera."
"having a RESTful implementation instead of RPC would have been more desirable."
"The solution keeps going down for many hours, which impacts the entire company."
"You should build the documentation a little better and more clearly because it is currently a convoluted mess, but that goes for every One Identity product."
"The admin interface can be improved, and configuring advanced settings feels complex, which costs extra time or technical support to troubleshoot."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is cheaper compared to typical German products. I rate the product’s pricing a four out of ten."
"The price is reasonable."
"It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
"OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
"While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
"Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
"We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
"The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
"The price of the licensing is fine."
