Integration with Kubernetes and flexibility improve our application deployment process
The logging could be improved; there's currently no intuitive way to filter logs on the Google console, especially for individuals who are not familiar with query languages. Our non-technical users find it difficult to access logs. Additionally, the user interface could be more user-friendly and intuitive compared to our previous experience with AWS.

Affordability and security improve our cloud experience while learning new systems
I'm not working with any AI features in IBM Public Cloud, but they are in the process of building it.I am very satisfied with the security that IBM Public Cloud provides. I would rate IBM Public Cloud eight out of ten, where one is worst and ten is the best.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The infrastructure is easy to manage."
"I like it because it's convenient. Google Cloud is also stable and scalable. The technical support is good as well."
"The solution is fairly easy to deploy."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"For us, the solution is very easy to use. We have the right skillsets for it."
"We can share documents with the whole class. Sharing information Using Google Drive and Google Cloud is very common."
"Technical support has been good."
"Regarding Google Cloud's data analytics features, I find the presentation of information and the ability to move and transform data to be the most valuable. As for machine learning capabilities, they are helpful, especially in detecting anomalies or outliers in our data. For instance, Google Cloud can identify unusual network behavior and provide recommendations on how to address or leverage these findings effectively."
"The most valuable feature of IBM Public Cloud is the AI integrations."
"The beauty of cloud service providers, especially public cloud service providers, is that they are scalable every time when you need them because their payment model is pay-as-you-go."
"This is a predictable and dependable service."
"The availability is second to none. Customer support is very good."
"It provides robust analytics and management tools to give customers complete visibility into their environment and infrastructure."
"One of the features that I really like about IBM Cloud is the flexibility where you can order your own hardware."
"This product is very good because it is accessible in remote locations, and anyone can deploy from any place."
"The initial setup was very easy. It's quite straightforward. Deployment took about fifteen minutes. Everything is well organized."

Cons

"Training in new advancements, technologies, or AI would help us understand how to best use the solution."
"The analytics that they have are very focused. It serves Google and not really the client."
"I consider Azure more secure than Google and Amazon because of all its certifications, but Google is secure enough and improving."
"The solution should be more configurable for high-volume databases."
"They need to improve the costing for predictive analytics, which is mainly related to the tools that come with AI. They also need to improve the BigQuery cost optimization and the visualization."
"There are some areas where Google Cloud could be improved. Specifically, they are not well-aligned with right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic. We encounter numerous issues when we use documents that mix right-to-left languages with left-to-right languages, such as Hebrew and English. This lack of alignment creates significant problems. Considering more than 400 million Arabic speakers, this is a central area where improvements would be beneficial."
"Sometimes the Google documents are difficult to learn from. Amazon has better support material."
"The privacy could be improved so that it is more secure."
"They do not have a very good virtual network implemented, and the VPC is the most important feature that needs to be improved."
"The initial setup and the pricing are areas that need improvement."
"The solution’s pricing could be improved."
"The product should offer more computing, similar to Amazon."
"There is not a lot of support for this solution, which is something that needs to be improved."
"The deployment can be a bit of a pain. There are a lot of packages and a lot of options and it can require complex configuration to get it right."
"The solution needs to be more autonomous. It should let the DL go to allow for more jobs on the cloud. It could have a better interface as well."
"An area for improvement in IBM Public Cloud is getting up-to-date information on how to set up everything. It's hard to find new documentation."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is cheaper than Azure."
"Google cloud is less expensive than other comparable solutions."
"The licensing cost is based on the capacity we use."
"We approached Google Cloud with certain cost assumptions but were surprised to find that our actual expenses were higher than expected. Initially, we had anticipated spending a set amount on the solution, but in reality, we ended up spending more than that. It would be helpful to have greater transparency and educational documentation on the cost-related aspects of Google Cloud."
"Google Cloud is on the expensive side for us. I don't have exact figures on the cost per year or month."
"For commercial purposes, users need to pay for the products they use on a workload basis, not a license basis. There are two pricing models: fixed monthly and pay-as-you-go. In the pay-as-you-go model, users pay for the resources they use, while in the fixed monthly model, they have 24/7 access to resources for a set monthly fee."
"Google Cloud should be divided into modules so that users can buy which module will satisfy them. The overall price of Google Cloud should be reduced, Microsoft is a little bit cheaper. However, if Google divided the cloud offering it would be better. For example, if someone wants to use only for OneDrive they should be able to purchase the service separately, it would reduce the price. There is a license required to use this solution for enterprises. There is a free account, which the users can increase the size of the space. Google cloud is used in most Android Mobile device operating systems."
"Its cost depends on specific use cases."
"In order to be competitive, you have to commit to a contract for at least one year, but you pay a fixed monthly fee."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a nine out of ten."
"It pretty much has a standard price. There is no hidden price with IBM Public Cloud."
"The price of IBM Cloud is very cheap compared to competitors AWS and Azure."
"IBM Public Cloud is pretty cheap. They have an ongoing free tier that basically won't expire, so as long as your solution is small enough, you can have a test set that you can use for demos, which will cost you almost nothing."
"The licensing fees are straightforward and predictable."
"Pricing is not as fair as Amazon or Azure."
"IBM has a lesser price compared to other cloud service providers like Azure and AWS."
