Offers the most simplest and easiest UI to use
I would not like many changes in the tool, but I think the 15 GB space provided by Google Drive Enterprise needs to be increased to around 25 five GB, as it would be really helpful for users. These days, the resolution of pictures and everything else has been increased. If you take a picture from an iPhone, it could easily be of around seven to eight GB. Photos are memories that one would want to keep or store properly. I believe that it is not possible to save a lot of photos in Google Drive Enterprise since it only provides 15 GB to users. The product does not offer a bit more storage space for users, which makes it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.

Email collaboration and accessibility have improved team productivity
The valuable features include the email service, email updates, and Google Drive. People are given email access to Google Drive. The team can share manual files and work accordingly. They can access different teams from anywhere, collectively putting files, sharing them, and managing them. Additionally, the manufacturing product does not require any downgrades. It works fine and continuously for the last three or four years. Users can access their emails from anywhere in their browser without a laptop or can directly access from Gmail. This is helpful for salespeople.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Google Drive Enterprise is storage and the mobile version. We can connect to Google Drive, on our Android phones and store all our documents, for later access at any time. It is a very flexible solution."
"The program is very stable."
"For any file you want to collaborate on with colleagues or external people, like clients, it can be done in real-time. That's the most interesting feature."
"I have found the most valuable feature to be the Google Drive synchronization."
"Google Drive Enterprise has helped compile data in one spot."
"There's no real implementation necessary."
"The performance of this solution is fast because it is hosted by Google."
"It is very easy to use. Everything is available on the cloud, which is what I like the most. So, when we require a document, we can download it at any time and in any of the formats."
"Reduces IT spend, freeing up cash for other areas: sales, marketing, recruitment, etc."
"Users can work anywhere with an internet connection."
"Google seems to be a more stable environment than our current on-premise Microsoft solution that we're replacing."
"The corporate email feature on Google's Gmail is fantastic."
"It's a secure solution that enables you to choose those you wish to share with."
"The initial setup is simple."
"I like the capabilities for collaboration on any platform. For example, I might be on an iPad whereas the person next to me is on a laptop and the person next to them is on their phone. We can all collaborate together and update documentation in real-time."
"We value the collaboration levels that are offered. Having everything integrated in a single platform is a dream come true for us."

Cons

"Google Drive could offer more free storage."
"A separate interface to give users a summary of how they've shared items on the drive would be useful. You can end up having a lot of stuff and the sheer amount can end up making users feel a little bit lost in terms of knowing who they've actually shared items with."
"I would like to see better integration with Google Docs, the Google landscape in general, and other environments."
"Security-wise, Google Drive Enterprise needs improvement. Compared to its competitor: Kiteworks, Google Drive Enterprise is less secure."
"It might be ideal if we could increase storage more easily, however, I don't have much visibility on that and have never had any issues."
"When compared to Commvault or Veeam, I'm not sure what Google Drive has to offer in terms of backing up data on the cloud or in a data center for a large organization."
"The Google Sheets should have more functionality."
"The storage space customization is limited, starting with 2GB and jumping significantly higher without intermediate options. Learning to use the admin console can be complex and overwhelming for some users. Additionally, the subscription payment method could be simpler, as updating payment details can be challenging if a credit card expires. For simple users, Gmail is fine, but business users often require more control."
"Integrating Copilot with Google Workspace is slightly difficult."
"Despite being an excellent platform, I would very much like Google Docs to be more compatible with Microsoft Word."
"It takes a long time to import the data from G Suite into another platform."
"To a degree, the project management service could be improved."
"With the Internet of Things, a platform that integrates well with others would be even better."
"G Suite could offer something a little more solid in terms of chat — something that is a little more like Slack and integrates with everything. But, unfortunately, the chat is very basic there. It doesn't offer that many features and feels like it doesn't belong there."
"We noticed that sometimes when we forward emails to somebody, it is being relocated as part of the communication somewhere else. The traceability and other features should be improved."
"There are times the plugins or extensions in the solution do not work properly and I need to disable and enable the solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I pay for the additional storage. Otherwise, it's free as a basic plan, 15 GB."
"You don't need to pay if it is within your storage limits. If you need more, you can have a corporate license. I don't know the pricing, but there is a corporate license. The extra costs would only be if you exceed these free limits."
"Google Drive's price is lower than competitors. I have two accounts, including one with Apple that I use to manage some pictures and contact. I use Apple Cloud for only this purpose. I use Google Drive for everything else. Compared to Google, the price of Dropbox is high and the solution isn't good."
"The costs could be lower, but they are reasonable for the value they provide."
"The licensing is yearly. We pay for the high-tier subscription."
"Google is much cheaper than Microsoft."
"I use the free version."
"We pay a monthly licensing fee for the solution."
"Pricing is something concerning. We find the solution very expensive."
"We normally purchase the license on a yearly basis."
"Traffic management tools may be required for larger setups and should be included in any pricing calculations."
"There are benefits that can provide a competitive advantage, e.g., improved productivity (with appropriate training), increased collaboration (with correct use of tools), flexible working - work from home or remote locations, easy to scale - fast onboarding of new employees, and ability to add and remove licenses, as required."
"The price of the solution can vary."
"You pay for Google Workspace based on your usage and the apps you use, but in my case, it's free, but if I used it a lot more, I'd probably need to pay. 15GB is enough for me, but I see myself upgrading and paying the additional charges for more storage regularly."
"2,500 Rupees per month per user."
"We pay a monthly subscription for the use of this solution."
