Offers the most simplest and easiest UI to use
I would not like many changes in the tool, but I think the 15 GB space provided by Google Drive Enterprise needs to be increased to around 25 five GB, as it would be really helpful for users. These days, the resolution of pictures and everything else has been increased. If you take a picture from an iPhone, it could easily be of around seven to eight GB. Photos are memories that one would want to keep or store properly. I believe that it is not possible to save a lot of photos in Google Drive Enterprise since it only provides 15 GB to users. The product does not offer a bit more storage space for users, which makes it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.

I love the backup capabilities and the offline sync
We use OneDrive to share documents throughout the organization and collaborate. It is also used for backups.  The backup capability is one feature I love about OneDrive. I also like how it syncs when you're working offline. Everything is updated once you connect again. It takes too long for…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution's most valuable features are its performance and availability."
"The performance of this solution is fast because it is hosted by Google."
"It is an easily scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"I like that it's easy to use. I'm satisfied with the speed, stability, and availability."
"It is a stable solution, and I have never faced any issues with the product...It is a scalable solution since one can get as much as one needs from the product."
"Though I don't see a major difference between Google Drive Enterprise and other competitors, I find that the solution is easy to use. You just need to connect to it and upload files and give access to users who need access to the files. It's very easy to manage files and share files on Google Drive Enterprise, and these are its most valuable features."
"The solution is simple to use."
"Google Drive is always up when I need it, so I don't have any complaints."
"Scalability is good just because it is a cloud-based product."
"It gives you access to important files from virtually anywhere."
"It is good as a central hub for the storage of documents and sharing among team members."
"The most valuable feature is to be able to modify the file online and keep it stored on the cloud, since it is not necessary to download it to make modifications."
"It was extremely easy to setup."
"We use Microsoft OneDrive for file sharing without the need for additional hardware (such as flash drives or external hard drives)."
"With this solution, the sharing of documents if very easy to do. There's a lot of collaboration you can do with your colleagues."
"They have support for integration with a lot of tools."

Cons

"Google Drive Enterprise is not scalable."
"Google can add a personalized dashboard that would give insights into the files that I have."
"The product lacks in the area of documentation."
"When compared to Commvault or Veeam, I'm not sure what Google Drive has to offer in terms of backing up data on the cloud or in a data center for a large organization."
"It might be ideal if we could increase storage more easily, however, I don't have much visibility on that and have never had any issues."
"I had some issues with permissions at first. I have to ask for Drive permissions because I'm a new doctoral student. Sometimes I have to ask for permission because I can't access this kind of document, but recently they fixed that by adding me to their team. Now I can access any document that my department supervisors and staff share on Drive."
"The feature for synchronization of data from multiple systems with the same single ID is not happening in Google Drive. This feature should be added. For example, if I have only one single mail ID and I'm using it in a different location to upload different data, this is the challenge. It is happening from one system or one server. The synchronization of data from the local system to Google Drive will not happen if the IDs are the same. If I'm using it for different systems in different locations, synchronization is not happening. The system hets logged out. This feature is very important for us and they need to add it."
"The storage limits could be higher."
"The online application is quite limited, for this and other Office offerings."
"Performance is an issue when sharing a large number of files in a single folder."
"No one gets an alert when files are deleted."
"The technical support is really very bad."
"OneDrive is a bit behind competing products like Dropbox and Box."
"The security is not as flexible as it is with Dropbox, which means that we can't share our OneDrive files."
"The user interface could be a little more intuitive."
"The solution has sub-folders, which are visible to various team members. If you want to ensure the information is private, you would need to have a certain level of seniority in the office."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I pay for the additional storage. Otherwise, it's free as a basic plan, 15 GB."
"The solution has a subscription-based license."
"The costs could be lower, but they are reasonable for the value they provide."
"I use the free version of the product."
"I have evaluated Amazon AWS and IBM solutions. Amazon AWS has competitive prices for cloud storage and backups."
"Google Drive's price is lower than competitors. I have two accounts, including one with Apple that I use to manage some pictures and contact. I use Apple Cloud for only this purpose. I use Google Drive for everything else. Compared to Google, the price of Dropbox is high and the solution isn't good."
"You don't need to pay if it is within your storage limits. If you need more, you can have a corporate license. I don't know the pricing, but there is a corporate license. The extra costs would only be if you exceed these free limits."
"Google Drive is free."
"Using this software, it has had an amazing impact moneywise on our business. It allows us to share documents without the need of extra hardware."
"We pay a lot for the Enterprise version, but it is a premium service."
"It is free if you are using Office 365, and you get a terabyte of storage with your account."
"OneDrive comes with Microsoft 365 so it is just an added part of that package."
"Costwise, it is a great option. In most cases, it is a free space, which will be more than enough for most customers."
"This is a pricy solution, given that we are only using it at 50% capacity."
"The licensing is expensive and on a yearly basis."
"The price of Microsoft OneDrive is reasonable and compatible with competitors."
