A stable and scalable solution with reasonable pricing
The solution has high support capability.  The tool needs to improve its cloud service capability.  I have been working with the solution for 15 years.  I would rate the solution's stability a ten out of ten.  I would rate the tool's scalability a ten out of ten since it is highly scalable. We…

Unified sign-in has simplified access control and has supported end-to-end identity lifecycle
The authentication process is good, but sometimes the responsiveness to requests for enhancement is very slow. I sometimes face issues with platform stability, flexibility in configuration, and limited API availability. I experience downtimes two to three times per year. OneLogin's support team is sometimes very slow to respond. There is a feature limitation with mapping, as OneLogin does not provide one-to-all mapping. For client deployment, we need to create separate mappings for each request, and we cannot use the same mapping for multiple requests. Other areas that have room for improvement are related to API limitations. If a client requires more APIs, such as 5,000 or 6,000, OneLogin charges more. The API rate limits by default or the standard limit should provide more than 5,000. Additionally, OneLogin could provide more flexibility in configuration. These are the main limitations I have identified with OneLogin.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The product is quite good, and from my point of view, it can serve our requirements."
"The solution has high support capability."
"The feature that I have found the most valuable is that they are open to connecting with any token. For example, a year ago, we were looking for a soft token, and we started to look for alternatives. They are open to connecting with any token that we looking for."
"I am impressed with OneLogin as the main data entry point for accessing most websites from a secure login entity, which is why I could really recommend it to other enterprises."
"We have observed approximately 45 to 50% fewer password-related support tickets, faster user onboarding by nearly 60%, and reduced errors."
"OneLogin has improved user access management, simplified the login experience for employees, and strengthened MFA enforcement across cloud applications without adding too much administrative overhead."
"OneLogin is easy to use and manage, which is one of the best features."
"Simplicity is the most valuable part of OneLogin."
"OneLogin is user-friendly, and any administrator can handle it easily."
"OneLogin has been a reliable and user-friendly IAM platform that helped simplify SSO and strengthen MFA adoption without creating too much complexity for users or administrators."
"This product has removed barriers for users to log into multiple services, so it provides a better user experience."

Cons

"The tool needs to improve its cloud capability."
"The user interface is not quite good and easy to use. There are a lot of menus, and the look and feel is not modern like a modern app."
"Sometimes there is a slight delay in getting the code, but overall it is smooth and reliable."
"OneLogin could improve its admin interface and troubleshooting experience because some configuration and error logs can be difficult to track during complex integrations or provisioning issues."
"OneLogin could improve a bit in loading speed or in the interface so that it is even more intuitive, but overall it works very well."
"If not, I don't think that's a product that should be released for Mac because you can't do patching and postpone the patching just because they still haven't figured out their tool."
"OneLogin is a strong IAM solution, though there are definitely a few areas where it can be improved, such as platform stability and outages, customer support responsiveness, and API customization limitations."
"OneLogin could be improved with a more intuitive admin interface and simpler configuration for advanced integrations and policies."
"However, OneLogin does not have the ability to set a custom timeout on rotating security codes."
"Currently, I'm much more focused on Okta, as the solution hasn't really met our requirements."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I would rate the solution's pricing a three out of ten. The tool's licensing is monthly."
"It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
"While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
"The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
"The price of the licensing is fine."
"OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
"We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
"Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
