Oracle's support is not that good for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Their support is expensive, and I don't think you're getting your bang for your buck. For the cloud product, they do give you support, but everything is online and you might not get somebody. I would give Oracle's support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne about a 6.5 on a scale of one to 10.

Integrated finance and HR have supported growth while support and on-premise limits need work
Unit4 ERP7 will not be improved as it is no longer supported by Unit4. The cloud ERP CR and ERP X do have clear roadmaps available to customers. Many of the gaps have been filled by the ERP suite of products. New improvements will include AI agents to automate finance and HR processes.

"The most valuable feature for us is its robustness, especially coming from the system we had before because it can do so many more things."
"The most valuable feature is the user experience, where you can create your own queries, it sends you alerts, and it's very flexible."
"The solution’s Accounts Payable and Procurement modules are the most stable and quite useful compared to other finance modules."
"JDE is one of the best software, which satisfies client requirements easily."
"The 1V reporting is straightforward and simple to use. Creating 1V reports does not require any technical knowledge."
"The product's self-service capabilities have benefited our organization."
"The financial features are the most valuable because we did not have good financial software and our organization had been growing."
"Unit4 Business World is a reliable product."
"We try not to do customization, but we do configuration, and the configuration is extremely flexible with many options for integrations as well."
"Unit4 Business World is a reliable product."
"The Unit4 ERP product is very flexible and can be configured to fit most business processes."
"Agresso includes a set of reporting and analytic tools that can be used to create a variety of reports unlike traditional ERP."
"Unit4 Business World's most valuable feature is flexibility. Its dashboards are easy."

Cons

"Reporting and dashboards are the areas that definitely can be improved."
"If it's complex, or there's some debate on whether the item is a bug or functioning as designed, it does take quite some time to get through that, and from a customer perspective, sometimes you have to be pretty persistent."
"I haven't come across any downsides just yet."
"It's got a steep learning curve."
"The way of creating daily reports could be made a little bit easier."
"JD Edwards EnterpriseOne could improve the speed because sometimes it takes time to load into the environment. This is typical when the ESU patch packages are used."
"The report development tools needs more GUI interfaces and it needs to be more user centric."
"The pricing of this solution costs an arm and a leg."
"For people on-premise, customer service is not great. During these 12 years, the quality of support has been a significant issue."
"Reporting and analytics features must be improved."
"Well, the commercial section is the worst in this company (0/10), al menos in our case."
"I would like to see direct communication support to engage with clients. The parent company should have a direct relationship with clients. Also, the tool's licensing, upgrade, and maintenance costs should be reduced."
"I would like to see more flexibility in the customization for us to be able to customize it based on the client's requirements."
"Limited industries covered - Agresso lacks some key modules"
"I would like to see more flexibility in the customization for us to be able to customize it based on the client's requirements."
"For people on-premise, customer service is not great. During these 12 years, the quality of support has been a significant issue."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of the solution is not cheap. However, it is priced average amongst competitors."
"In terms of pricing, we have a lot of problems because companies here don't have enough resources to acquire the product. So we need to evaluate the price according to our demographic...The license cost is around 1,00,000 euros."
"In terms of price, it is not on the high end."
"JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has a lot of value for the money. The implementation cost and license cost are quite reasonable compared to other solutions, such as Oracle EBS or SAP."
"It depends on the number of users and the modules that you want to buy. It is licensed on a perpetual license basis. You buy the license costs upfront, and then there is maintenance for support that you pay every year, which is typically about 20%."
"It's very competitively priced. The only problem now is that most of the industry is moving towards software as a service or a subscription model, whereas JD Edwards has a capital expenditure. You would spend on the licenses once off. You can either host it on-premise or in the cloud, but there is a licensing fee once a year."
"The solution's pricing depends on the deal and the number of users."
"EnterpriseOne is cost-effective for large enterprises."
"I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
