AI automation saves time and simplifies financial processes
The data entry process is very time-consuming. Without using options like ODA, manually entering data in the GLS screen or Oracle invoices is a time-consuming job. The screens could be improved, as a lot of mouse clicks are required, and multiple fields need to be entered. Although it has a workaround with spreadsheets, the screen interface could be better.

A flexible solution that is useful in finance, HR, and procurement
We use the tool in finance, HR, and procurement.  Unit4 Business World's most valuable feature is flexibility. Its dashboards are easy.  I would like to see direct communication support to engage with clients. The parent company should have a direct relationship with clients. Also, the tool's…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The embedded AI is very beneficial for automations, and it provides a lot of help to customers."
"What's most valuable in Oracle ERP Cloud is that it's one of the largest ERPs available in the market and it has a lot of customization features. It also has a lot of flexibility and integration options that work with other applications. Many of the customers also migrate to the cloud, so Oracle ERP Cloud is a preferred solution."
"The solution saves time and money."
"Unlike traditional ERPs, where adding a column is customization, personalization is in the tool. OTBI is built-in, providing many pre-delivered reports and dashboards. It's cloud-based, so it's OpEx instead of CapEx. Oracle Integration Cloud Services offers pre-delivered APIs for easy integration with systems like payroll and Salesforce."
"It is easy and very convenient for clients to go to the front end and check whatever update they want to look at."
"My company found the financial planning and budgeting modules of Oracle ERP Cloud more sophisticated and valuable than its other modules."
"The best part of Oracle ERP Cloud is that everything can be found in a single place."
"Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has integrated the best features from various sources. For instance, it incorporates the strengths of HCM from PeopleSoft, PPM from another source and CRM from Salesforce."
"Unit4 Business World's most valuable feature is flexibility. Its dashboards are easy."
"The product's self-service capabilities have benefited our organization."
"Unit4 Business World is a reliable product."

Cons

"The solution's new analytics information, dashboard, and flexibility of reporting could be improved."
"We have had concerns about the security and flexibility of the application. The approach with Oracle ERP Cloud should be more holistic rather than user or computer-based."
"The solution should implement improvements with AI technology. Specifically, in the realm of ERP tools, this can be particularly beneficial, not only for cloud-based systems but for all types of tools. Additionally, a highly desirable feature is the ability to work offline."
"Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP's interface needs to be improved."
"It should be built with less complexity and more ability for clients to add screens."
"Improve support services in the new features roadmap."
"The stability is not as good as Informatica, but this is very good."
"There are two main areas for improvement. First, the licensing and pricing model confuses customers, especially after going live. Different components like EPM, ERP, and OIC are charged differently. Second, the manufacturing functionality needs more maturity, especially for non-process-based manufacturing. We've raised this with Oracle, and they've acknowledged it. They might address it in future patches."
"Reporting and analytics features must be improved."
"I would like to see direct communication support to engage with clients. The parent company should have a direct relationship with clients. Also, the tool's licensing, upgrade, and maintenance costs should be reduced."
"I would like to see more flexibility in the customization for us to be able to customize it based on the client's requirements."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is too costly."
"Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is reasonable and recommended for medium-sized enterprises. It might be a bit expensive for smaller businesses, but it is a good product if they have sufficient users."
"The price of the solution is expensive. There are additional costs associated with this particular case that must be taken into consideration when calculating the overall expense. These costs may include but are not limited to, additional materials, labor, and other miscellaneous expenses that may arise during the course of the project. It is important to note that these additional costs may exceed the initial pricing estimate."
"Oracle ERP Cloud is not a cheap solution."
"For an ERP Cloud, the pricing is relatively high."
"The solution is moderately priced, where it is neither expensive nor cheap."
"We pay additional costs to a consulting company."
"In a developing country such as Bangladesh, Oracle ERP Cloud is expensive compared to on-premise solutions, so the turnover is very low. Customers become more comfortable using on-premise services because of the high subscription costs of Oracle ERP Cloud."
"I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
