Consistently manages user capacity and satisfaction with ease
I have completed over twenty projects using Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points ( /products/juniper-mist-wireless-access-points-reviews ), and I continue to see exceptional performance in the areas of user capacity, user experience, and user satisfaction. This makes Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points highly recommended if the customer's budget allows, as the hardware performance is also very good. From my perspective, the Juniper reporting logs are clear and provide necessary data, which supports better management and diagnosis.

Reliable and high-performance wireless networking with exceptional stability, scalability, and robust feature set
One of the most valuable features I appreciate is auto channelization, facilitated by a proprietary product called ChannelFly. This feature enables APs in a specific zone to automatically adjust their channels, optimizing performance. Additionally, Ruckus Wireless stands out for its ability to reuse certain beams, resulting in smaller data spots. In my experience with various products, Ruckus Wireless consistently delivers unparalleled throughput, coverage, and reliability in wireless networking across different environments. As a noteworthy point, the newly launched WiFi 7 standard is measured against Ruckus's WiFi 7 AP, establishing it as the global benchmark. When it comes to WiFi, Ruckus sets the standard, outperforming competitors with its superior performance and capabilities.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The simplicity is great."
"Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance."
"The solution is stable."
"The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done."
"For the most part, it does what it's supposed to do, and I like it. It's a great product."
"The solution is pretty generic and easy to use."
"It provides private network access, helping us protect our company’s devices."
"It's well-detailed in terms of troubleshooting logs."
"It ensured our Internet service was always up, allowing us to serve our customers 24/7."
"The most valuable is the central administration. Provides quick views of activity, from the number of clients online to signal and noise readings."
"The solution has many innovative features."
"We are able to quickly identify Rogue WAPs in our network and move to disconnect them immediately when Ruckus alerts us."
"Ruckus Wireless supports the most recent technologies. We can trace every individual and what kind of traffic they're using on our campus. It is very helpful."
"It gives you the whole user session, and you can tell that the client connected at the traffic post."
"The product has some very awesome patents on their radios and their antennas and antenna patterns and how their signaling works. That's why nobody can touch them. If they go head to head with anybody."
"Its roaming capabilities and the fact that we can have redundant backup controllers are the most valuable. There is a backup controller that is heart beated to the primary. It is also fairly easy to install."

Cons

"It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network."
"The pricing is very high in the Indian market."
"They should include SD-WAN features to it."
"The product should include adaptive Wi-Fi to show a more accurate location."
"The solution is expensive."
"Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process."
"Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage."

"I would like to see more location-based services on the Smart Cell Insight on access points."
"Ruckus products, overall, have a wide range of useful features, however not all customers have the budget to buy a corporate Wi-Fi solution. Most of the time, it's far too expensive for our clients to consider going with Ruckus, and they might like to see cheaper solutions in the Ruckus range."
"The response time of the support team needs to improve"
"I would like the option to not have my logs deleted when I shut down the device so that I will be able to troubleshoot."
"The solution should have more analytics capabilities."

"The pricing is the biggest issue with Ruckus wireless. It's so expensive, but Ruckus are just the best."
"The setup that I have at the moment does not require licensing, although I am not sure whether a bigger project will mean that I have to spend more."
"Ruckus is more expensive than Meraki, but the performance moves in parallel with the cost."
"The only complaint I have about Ruckus is the price, but considering other enterprise WiFi products are similarly priced, I feel Ruckus is a superior product."
