They deployed and maintained our cloud infrastructure.
There should be the improved ability to speak directly to resources over the phone, rather than just through tickets and emails. Logicworks provides DevOps-as-a-Service functionality and is not really a software solution. My only issue with them is that it is difficult to talk to anyone live, as they manage all their service tickets through emails or their ticket portal. Perhaps, an enhancement that could be a button on the portal which could connect you via a web conference with the resource assigned to the ticket, would be helpful.

Versatile integrations and reliable customer satisfaction elevate cloud service experience
For Microsoft Azure improvement, they need to enhance their support system. The first level of support should be improved in terms of quality and response time. They need more technical support at the first level, as there are currently only one or two technical people among five to ten staff members at this level. They should ensure that the first level support is more technical because we normally provide services to technical users ourselves. When an issue arises, it usually escalates to the second or third level. When facing first level support, they may have limited knowledge and only collect screenshots to forward to their seniors. They should ensure that the first level support is aligned with L2 and L3 to better assist us, especially since we mention in the ticket that our issues are related to specific problems and require that sort of support.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The stable environments, outsourcing of IT allowing us to keep very light headcount for the DevOps are the most valuable features of this solution."
"We are using it for disaster recovery and application hosting."
"The most valuable feature of Azure is the flexibility to pick and choose what you need, on the spot, and then be able to manage it yourself."
"In terms of scalability, it is perfect."
"I would recommend this solution to new users."
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup an eight out of ten, with ten being easy."
"We have found the stability and performance to be quite good."
"Microsoft Azure is very stable."
"Microsoft Azure assists in lowering the cost of on-premises infrastructure as well as improving performance."

Cons

"My only issue with them is that it is difficult to talk to anyone live, as they manage all their service tickets through emails or their ticket portal."
"One area for enhancement could be in the realm of big data and unstructured data storage."
"They need to make storage easy and offer more interconnectivity between solutions."
"Azure's pricing could be more competitive. Some clients mentioned that they are considering switching to AWS because of the price."
"The interface for configuring the environment is not very intuitive. Certain things are at different places, and it is not easy to navigate."
"They're already doing quite a bit. I'm not unsatisfied with anything that they're doing right now. They can maybe make the transitions a little smoother and improve its pricing. The pricing for the end-user packages is a bit high."
"Quite an expensive solution."
"Microsoft Azure could improve by having more virtual machine operating systems available."
"What we experienced after two years with an Azure subscription is that there is good knowledge in Microsoft Partners for Azure, but generally they are too specialized and could not cover everything, because they always miss something related for example to networking, database, web apps, security, or integration on Azure."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The price of the solution can be expensive."
"Everything involves an annual commitment with a monthly charge."
"I rate the product price a seven or eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is low price, and ten is high price."
"Microsoft Azure is not expensive. You pay for what you use. If you are using it everything could be expensive."
"Their licensing costs might be a little bit lower, compared to AWS, but I'm not sure. I think we get licenses, especially on long-term projects, on a yearly basis. It could be cheaper."
"The price of this solution is one of the things that attracted us to it."
"The cost structure is like most cloud-based services. The solution could be cheaper, it is always better to be cheaper."
"With every cloud solution, you have to know what you need and the cost can be fine. The price can be a little bit high depending on how you manage your costs, but overall it's still a bit cheaper than an on-premise solution but with the advantage of flexibility. You're always up to date with the software, you only need to use it. You no longer have to be concerned with the on-premise physical security. We do not need to create a data center, it's more convenient for us."
