Reliable and high-performance wireless networking with exceptional stability, scalability, and robust feature set
One of the most valuable features I appreciate is auto channelization, facilitated by a proprietary product called ChannelFly. This feature enables APs in a specific zone to automatically adjust their channels, optimizing performance. Additionally, Ruckus Wireless stands out for its ability to reuse certain beams, resulting in smaller data spots. In my experience with various products, Ruckus Wireless consistently delivers unparalleled throughput, coverage, and reliability in wireless networking across different environments. As a noteworthy point, the newly launched WiFi 7 standard is measured against Ruckus's WiFi 7 AP, establishing it as the global benchmark. When it comes to WiFi, Ruckus sets the standard, outperforming competitors with its superior performance and capabilities.

"AI is the most valuable feature."
"Ability to control the access points by groups."
"Has an extremely good feature set."
"Multi PSK (Pre-shared Key) is a very good feature in the solution...Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"Natural language patching is an important feature."
"This solution helps customers save time and fix problems proactively."
"Regarding features, the solution seems to be very intuitive."
"The most valuable feature is the signature feature from Ruckus; the feature is called the BeamFlex. BeamFlex adaptive antenna technology takes a more adaptable approach allowing the access point to continually sense and optimize for its environment. The signals can be sent in a particular predetermined direction as desired. The technology allows for electrically manipulated antenna properties creating optimal antenna patterns for each device with which they communicated: the signal is focused, where the user is positioning."
"It's easy to install, and the management is flexible."
"There can be the same SSID for several devices."
"I really like Ruckus Unleashed, which is the feature that provides a quick solution for me to control the APs."
"The speed between client to client is really nice. It is better than any other vendor, but officially, I cannot say that to people."
"Offers excellent WiFi connectivity and a valuable SmartRoam feature"
"The solution is very user-friendly."
"The most valuable feature of Ruckus Wireless is the simple interface of the SmartZone platform."

Cons

"The inter-functionality with other vendors was a negative for us."
"It would be beneficial to have support for the Chinese language."
"There is no local support for Mist in Brazil."
"I would like to see this product made a little more economical because it's very expensive."

"The price could be improved."

"The solution needs to have some sort of security offering, like a firewall, for example."
"The delivery time of the hardware needs to be improved."
"Lacks some analytics features in the control itself."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of Mist AI and Cloud is approximately 20 percent less than competitors, such as Aruba and Cisco. However, Cisco has a lifetime warranty for its solutions."
"The price is not cheap, but it's a reliable solution and very easy for management."
"Depending on the features, I think it's quite reasonably priced, especially considering the facilities of the product."
"The price of this product is approximately the same as competing products in the market."
"The annual cost is a significant issue for us, and it notably contributes to the overall price. We have a customer with nearly fifty-eight access points in a multifunctional building, and while the setup was relatively simple, the yearly licensing cost is substantial. For the specific features we utilize, the licensing amounts to about forty thousand euros annually. This is not a trivial expense and significantly impacts the overall cost, making it quite high."
"The custom licensing is a little bit expensive and I would rate it 7.5 out of 10."
"The solution's price is too high for the end-users. My customers pay 1,000 USD towards the licensing cost of the solution every year."
"The solution is expensive in Brazil."
"The price of Ruckus Wireless could be better. I have heard it is more expensive than other solutions."
"The reason we picked Ruckus, in addition to our long-standing relationship with Ruckus, is pretty much that the RFS characteristics of it seem to be the best."
"Regarding pricing, Ruckus Wireless is a five out of ten. Though it's cheaper than Aruba Wireless, pricing for Ruckus Wireless, when you look at its functionality, could be more affordable."
"Its price is reasonable for me."
"The price of Ruckus Wireless is less expensive than other solutions, such as Cisco."
"It is decently priced."
"This is a very expensive solution."
"It's a lot more expensive."
