User-friendly solution with good blocking
I mainly use Security Premium as an antivirus.  Security Premium's best features are blocking, notifications, and the user interface. Security Premium's cost could be lower. I've been using Security Premium for a year. Security Premium is stable - I haven't faced any issues or bugs while using…

Automation has reduced alerts and freed the soc team to focus on faster incident response
Regarding mean time to respond, the improvements I see with SentinelOne Singularity Complete are that genuine files also get alerts. We are getting false positives, but we are also getting genuine true positive alerts. The improvement will be deep visibility because as I am using Splunk as a SIEM, I compare deep visibility with Splunk, but deep visibility has limited access with only a 14-day policy to retain logs. The improvement will be in overall policy management. The third point will be the complexity of policies. If we want some endpoints to use only USB or if we need to block USB on some points, the policy management is very complex. The fourth point will be that Mac OS and Linux don't have the rollback policy; that policy is only for Windows. These four points are improvements if SentinelOne Singularity Complete can address them. Data privacy and security when utilizing Purple AI is crucial for SentinelOne Singularity Complete, and SentinelOne Singularity Complete lacks in data security. Data security is very important in this world. In my organization, if we deploy SentinelOne Singularity Complete and we have integrated all the firewalls, all devices, and AWS devices to SentinelOne Singularity Complete, logs will be forwarded to SentinelOne Singularity Complete through SentinelOne Singularity Complete. However, SentinelOne Singularity Complete doesn't have data security solutions such as Forcepoint DLP or 48 layer; SentinelOne Singularity Complete doesn't have that DLP solution. From the data security point of view, SentinelOne Singularity Complete is not good.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the quick installation."
"It does not take many resources during scanning."
"The dashboard is good."
"The most valuable feature is the multifunctional protection."
"When I'm using the solution in my personal space, I can see that it secures my laptop, it works fast, and it actually does what I want."
"The licensing fee for this solution is not expensive."
"We like how it can check for issues. That includes files and web browsers."
"I'm convinced that Symantec and Norton are the leaders, they know what they are doing, they cover all functionalities of spam, virus, and malware protection, etc."
"Overall, our experience with SentinelOne Singularity Endpoint has been very positive; the combination of MDR and endpoint protection significantly strengthens our security posture, especially as we grow as a small to medium business in the energy sector and battery manufacturing."
"Our clients have been able to survive a ransomware attack without even knowing that they had had files encrypted and automatically rolled back - even their Point of Sale (POS) system did not miss a beat and the business continued as normal without interruption."
"We have noticed a reduction in alerts since implementing SentinelOne Singularity Complete."
"I like Singularity's rollback features, threat-hunting, and Ranger Insights. The Ranger feature scans the network and provides visibility into all the unsecured assets."
"The rollback feature is the most valuable aspect of the solution."
"It is great for security monitoring and blocking when needed."
"Tracking down which devices don't currently have SentinelOne on them is the most valuable feature of the product."
"For me, the experience has been very good."

Cons

"The product could always be more secure."
"It would be helpful for me if this solution works on our cloud backup data."
"The solution can improve the security modules."
"Having a dashboard that shows the different functions of Norton Security Premium can convince end users that the software is more than just an antivirus solution. This product offers several features, but end users think that it's just one out of the box solution, because the different functions are not explained in detail."
"I do not find it to be scalable."
"As far as improvement to the product, perhaps the price could be better."
"During scanning, sometimes, there is a heavy load on the workstation. This needs to be improved."
"The only problem with Norton Antivirus is that it consumes a lot of resources like CPU and memory in the background. Whenever it's scanning, my laptop becomes very slow, and the worst part is you cannot do anything about it. As this product is secured by my local IT team, you cannot even kill that process, and that's what I've felt about many other antivirus solutions. I'm using McAfee for personal use, and I have the same problem."
"It is an expensive product."
"The first thing I would say about the negative side of Singularity Platform is that it lacks some customization and integrations compared to competitors."
"I think communication and documentation could be improved in the solution."
"They have tiers of support like most companies do. For the first three years, we had the top tier of their support and we would get a response from a technician quickly. We didn't have many things we had to ask of them. They would be very quick. We are now one tier down from that. The SLA for us is no longer within an hour or two. It's within half a day or something like that. As far as if I do ask a question of them, it is a little slower than what it used to be. I understand that we're at a lesser tier, but sometimes it feels like that could be a little better. I have to preface that by specifying that we're no longer paying for their top tier support."
"In terms of improvements for SentinelOne Singularity Endpoint, the dashboard is complex for new users, and there are a lot of false positive alerts, particularly from genuine EXE files."
"There is room for improvement with the management interface. It could be more user friendly."
"They need to improve how we install the software."
"Initially, when we first deployed the solution, it caused some third-party connectivity issues."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have a yearly license, and each license is around 20 or 30 Jordanian Dinars plus taxes."
"Pricing for this software is competitive."
"If they could come down in price that would be good. It's not exactly the lowest."
"Security Premium costs around US$100 for three years, which is a little expensive."
"As I have been a long-time customer, I was given a fair price of $49.95 per month for the first four to six months."
"Security Premium is highly-priced."
"The licensing fee for this solution is not expensive."
"The solution gives the value for the money."
"The tool's price is reasonable."
"The pricing is very reasonable."
"The cost of endpoint protection is fairly reasonable."
"The pricing was very similar in terms of its competitors, but I believe SentinelOne's capability and willingness to attract new business allowed us to save some extra money."
"SentinelOne Singularity Complete is reasonably priced."
"The license is per user."
"The one I use is $6 a month per device. Some are $4 and there are some that are more than that."
"It is not sold as a consumer product. It is only sold based on the number of licenses. So, as an MSP, you're probably going to pay about three and a half dollars per license, per month to have SentinelOne."
