Dashboard customization is needed for improvements. While the centralized management is strong, the dashboard could offer more flexibility. It would be helpful to tailor views for different roles, such as IT or security support. Regarding needed improvements, custom report building could be enhanced. Current reports are informative, and a drag-and-drop builder would allow teams to create tailored views for compliance, executive summaries, or operational metrics. For further improvements, enhancing threat simulation and testing would be valuable. Building a threat simulation tool and adding native capabilities to simulate phishing, malware, or ransomware scenarios will help teams validate protection and train users without relying on third-party tools.

User-friendly solution with good blocking
I mainly use Security Premium as an antivirus.  Security Premium's best features are blocking, notifications, and the user interface. Security Premium's cost could be lower. I've been using Security Premium for a year. Security Premium is stable - I haven't faced any issues or bugs while using…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"By using the Check Point Harmony Endpoint tool we have achieved great visibility, extensive control of our network and our users, and, above all, a level of security against cyber attacks that's more effective than what we had before."
"A unique feature with this product is that it will detect if the user is entering their password on a website, and then block it."
"One of the strengths of Harmony is its power to detect threats and keep us safe."
"The solution does a pretty good job and is easy to use. I am the person maintaining the tool and only one person is required to maintain it. Their configuration portal is user-friendly and anyone can crack it with a little bit of knowledge."
"Endpoint security protects networks from unauthorized programs, viruses and malware, and allows you to control the network by blocking devices that you do not want to have access to it, for example by file extensions or using the device’s ID."
"An incredibly helpful feature we use day-to-day is the automated remediation and rollback capability in Check Point Harmony Endpoint, as if a file is flagged as malicious or if ransomware activity is detected, the system can automatically isolate an endpoint and rollback changes to restore it to a safe state, and that's saved us from having to manually clean up or re-image devices after an incident."
"My customers choose Check Point Harmony Endpoint because deployment is easier and because it's cost effective and more secure."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint has positively impacted my organization primarily in the protection context as we no longer face issues where data is lost because someone put it on a USB drive or encounter situations where information leaks from users inside, effectively closing off one of the threat edges."
"I'm convinced that Symantec and Norton are the leaders, they know what they are doing, they cover all functionalities of spam, virus, and malware protection, etc."
"In general, technical support has been helpful."
"With the heightened security around phishing, identity theft, and malware, this is a good product."
"Protects me from internet vulnerability."
"Security Premium's best features are blocking, notifications, and the user interface."
"Norton Security Premium is good, and it's pretty simple to install."
"Flexible antivirus and antimalware software. It also provides protection against ransomware. It's flexible, easy to handle, scalable, and stable."
"The most valuable feature is the quick installation."

Cons

"While using Check Point Harmony Endpoint, I find that the initial deployment can be a bit complex, especially for large or distributed environments, requiring proper planning and familiarity with the Check Point ecosystem."
"Technical support could be better."
"The endpoint might consume excessive resources from the machine, which can impact its performance."
"One way Check Point Harmony Endpoint can be improved is through extended audit log retention, as one commonly cited limitation is the short retention period for audit logs, currently capped at around 14 days in some configurations, and extending that window would help security teams conduct deeper forensic investigations and meet compliance requirements more easily."
"I would like to see simple sandboxing for malware analysis."
"I would like to be able to see this integration of device analysis and verification - not just in native-integrated solutions - for Linux and iOS mobile devices, which are today a part of the larger group of devices and solutions that we have available."
"One of the features that we could use in the future, or would be something additional that we as users and network administrators would want to see, is the ability to integrate this solution with the other existing solutions, such as Harmony."
"Enhanced behavioral analytics would provide a deeper understanding of endpoint activities, fortifying our defenses against sophisticated cyber adversaries."
"The only problem with Norton Antivirus is that it consumes a lot of resources like CPU and memory in the background. Whenever it's scanning, my laptop becomes very slow, and the worst part is you cannot do anything about it. As this product is secured by my local IT team, you cannot even kill that process, and that's what I've felt about many other antivirus solutions. I'm using McAfee for personal use, and I have the same problem."
"It would be helpful for me if this solution works on our cloud backup data."
"I don't like the password manager of Norton Security Premium. I really dislike it."
"Having a dashboard that shows the different functions of Norton Security Premium can convince end users that the software is more than just an antivirus solution. This product offers several features, but end users think that it's just one out of the box solution, because the different functions are not explained in detail."
"Security Premium's cost could be lower."
"I do not find it to be scalable."
"They say Norton Security Premium is an all-in-one solution, but we don't know exactly what's in it, e.g. they didn't make an effort to explain the difference between a virus scan and a ransomware scan."
"The solution can improve the security modules."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Licensing comes free in that first year or is included in the base package. From a commercial point of view, it really just is the renewal cost, rather than a one-time fixed cost or buy-in."
"We pay on an annual basis. There are no additional fees, they mostly tell us what we have to pay. We have budgeted for it."
"I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten. It costs around ₱2,200 per endpoint."
"I bought them for 12 months and I genuinely cannot remember what I paid for them. I think it's about 100 pounds per user per year, so about 10 pounds a month per person."
"The tool’s cost has increased by almost 300% in two years."
"Check Point Antivirus is an expensive solution, especially for clients that don't have as many endpoints. Check Point Antivirus has a free trial for one month, and within the trial period, there's no limit to the number of endpoints it can support, but when the trial expires, you'll have to buy the license, which covers one year. You can't buy a license for the solution without being a Check Point partner first."
"Choosing the correct set of licenses is essential because, without the additional software blade licenses, the Check Point gateways are just a stateful firewall."
"We pay roughly 80,000 Swedish krona per year. When it comes to the firewall, it's roughly 150,000 Swedish krona yearly. There's also maintenance, of course, which is roughly 10,000 krona per month."
"The licensing fee for this solution is not expensive."
"I don't pay for a license."
"We have a yearly license, and each license is around 20 or 30 Jordanian Dinars plus taxes."
"Security Premium is highly-priced."
"Pricing for this software is competitive."
"If they could come down in price that would be good. It's not exactly the lowest."
"The solution gives the value for the money."
"Security Premium costs around US$100 for three years, which is a little expensive."
