Decades of use have delivered secure, customizable control for public sector operations and finance
I have just completed three assessments: one on inventory demand planning, another on using artificial intelligence to bring supplier contracts in portable document format directly into PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft works both internally as well as with third-party products that integrate seamlessly with PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft operates both from a need-to-know-only basis as well as being able at the same time to do group purchase and realize large quantity purchase discounts. My clients have used marketplaces, and it is really industry-specific whether they use one or not, or if there is even one available. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

"The solution allows us to explore the databases and enables people to properly develop their work."
"Having a complete enterprise solution where all the reporting is in our own centralized system is great."
"The new version of this solution is very scalable."
"I often say that PeopleSoft's greatest feature is how customizable it is."
"The recruiting is most valuable, as it saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management."

"The hiring process is good. It will create a process-oriented procedure in terms of hiring, promotion, the movement of people, and other related HR tasks."
"The mobile responsiveness is strong."
"PeopleStrong Alt is flexible because it allows customization and the user's experience is very good."

"The UI and UX are fantastic."

Cons

"An area for improvement would be that it's quite difficult to learn how to use this product, and the documentation provided isn't helpful in giving you practical advice."
"The implementation of PeopleSoft is quite complex and is not as easy as other cloud products such as SuccessFactor or Workday."
"Stability is an area where the solution lacks and needs to be improved."
"We've had to build all our data warehouses and datamarts in order for PeopleSoft to do the detailed reporting that we need."
"Having applications which provide more enhanced features and user-friendly elements."
"I think the inventory part it should be simplified. There is the GR, or good receipt note, which is the time that the materials comes in, and the work days, etc. There is a lot of shuffling through pages, which creates a lot of problems for our users. They don't know which page to go to, where to create a GR, or where to create a stock entry. In other words, all the information is very daunting. It's very easy for people to understand and get a better clarity over it."
"I would like to see a better UI."
"There are a couple of areas for improvement, including better overall performance as well as an even quicker update process so that we have as minimal downtime as possible."
"It would be helpful if you could work offline because sometimes, we have problems with internet connectivity."
"The solution's workflow can improve by adding more customization at the organizational level."
"Sometimes, we feel that we should have an API-based integration aspect."
"The global scalability and support could improve."
"PeopleStrong could make it AI-friendly."
"They had challenges getting the performance management system up and integrated with our systems."
"They could improve talent management capabilities."
"They could include a sort of collaborative platform where employees are able to work together with a chat mechanism like WhatsApp and video chat."
