Everything has worked better since we started using it
Sometimes the syncing is inconsistent. I'm confident that the devices are checking in every eight hours, but sometimes the devices aren't picking up the settings as quickly as I would expect. Some features haven't been updated in a while, and Microsoft doesn't seem interested in developing them. Unless you talk to an engineer, you don't know whether there will be an update. There are communication issues, so you might start working with a feature without knowing if it will be deprecated six months from now. Some reporting areas still need development. For example, I noticed that the reporting for driver updates is still confusing.

Versatile device management simplifies device security and configuration while offering cost-effective options
I appreciate Samsung Knox because I have all solutions in one portal, including Knox Manage, Knox Configure, Enrollment, and E-FOTA. Samsung Knox is particularly valuable because I can manage not only Samsung devices but also Xiaomi, Huawei, and other Android devices. Additionally, I can create GPOs with Windows. The integration of Samsung Knox is straightforward because we can enroll devices across all types of Android devices, including Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, and TCL. You can enroll with the IMEI for Samsung devices or use a command with Google Play to enroll Knox Manage and apply all policies. Through the Windows Store, you can install Knox Manage and manage Windows devices similar to using GPOs in Windows or InTune, but at a lower cost. Samsung Knox helps manage work profiles in my case because all devices are managed and protected through encryption. The devices are encrypted with a password and assigned to different organizations or groups depending on the department.

An MDM solution for controlling and restricting data on devices
Everyone is using high-end devices, such as mobile devices. If they lose their devices, how about the data copied to other devices? Once the device is lost, you can remotely delete all of the data and block the device, preventing anyone from using or reusing it. This will keep your devices secure.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft Intune scales very effectively with our growing needs."
"Based on my experience, I would recommend Microsoft Intune to organizations looking for management of a large number of devices and enterprise environments."
"I like the tool's integration with Apple. Anyone who creates an ID in Intune will get an Apple ID."
"The automatic patching is the most valuable feature of Intune."
"We work completely in a Microsoft environment. Its interface is similar to other Microsoft solutions that we are using such as Microsoft Defender. So far, for our administrators, it is easy to use."
"The ability to wipe data from and reset devices is one of the most important and valuable features. If a device is reported stolen, we can freeze it or wipe the data from it, preventing data leakage."
"Microsoft Intune simplifies device management by replacing the traditional method of installing OS, joining a domain, and configuring everything manually."
"The most valuable features in Microsoft Intune for me are application deployment, Defender deployment, and asset management."
"The most valuable feature of Samsung Knox is the endpoint protection it offers. Users have the ability to perform a factory reset without the need for a hard reset, which is very beneficial."
"One portal for all the features and the remote support capability in Samsung Knox is highly valued. The enterprise editions and the free Knox Suite licenses for one year are also beneficial."
"Overall, I would rate the solution as a 10."
"Its enhanced support for iOS and Windows devices has been particularly beneficial, expanding our service offerings to customers with diverse device environments."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."

Cons

"They could also make it easier to use because there are some other products that may be easier to use in terms of the look and feel of the dashboard."
"I would like to see better integration with Microsoft. There are a few things I can still do with Jamf that I am unable to do with Intune yet."
"Currently, BitLocker does not support BYOD enrollment, which is a product limitation."
"There should be more predictability in the release cycle. We don't feel we have any control over when new updates come out, and whether there are changes to the backend functionality or to the user interface. Updates just happen."
"At this time, I do not have any areas for improvement. I have heard about some downtime, but I am not in the local IT team."
"There should be more focus on mobile device security and integration."
"From an end-user perspective of Microsoft Intune, I haven't experienced any challenges since installation. However, some customers have reported experiencing slowness when using lower versions of the Android system."
"The reporting is subpar. That's the only issue we have with Intune. We use another solution for that purpose."
"Features like private DNS would be very useful if pushed through Knox Manage."
"Samsung Knox needs to expand customer features across all devices, not just Samsung devices."
"It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough."
"One area for improvement could be streamlining permissions during initial device setup, especially for corporate-owned devices, to reduce manual user interaction and expedite deployment."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Previously the price was $4 per month per user. Now it's $2.25 per user per month."
"With our standard E5 agreement with Microsoft, there have been no pricing concerns. Introductory professional services, like a fast-track service, were included with our E5 membership, and there have been no additional costs."
"It is expensive. The cost depends on the license that we choose."
"It is not expensive."
"The clients pay for a license and each can have a different type of license, such as an E3 or E5."
"The solution is cost-efficient."
"Its price is quite okay. I wish they provide certain additional features with the same license."
"The pricing is good because customers are not complaining about it."
