Threaded collaboration has transformed how our team tracks tickets and monitors automation updates
One suggestion I would make for improving Slack Business - Enterprise is the support of multimedia such as images and videos that we can easily share through Slack. That would be great. Additionally, another thing is AI integration; if Slack has some AI capabilities to get insights about conversations or summarization, that would be a great feature. If Slack has an AI feature that can summarize a particular Slack thread and provide a summary of that, that would be a great feature for us. I would rate it a ten if it comes with some AI features, particularly using generative AI to produce summarization and other kinds of insights from communication in a more secure, data-secure way.

I think we should have some improvements in Yammer, similar to what we have in Facebook and others, where we can have targeted communications, so that we can filter some communications to go to a specific subset of that group, not to everybody. We would love to have some AI technologies included in Yammer, but I do not have a specific use case in mind right now.

Pros

"The feature that I have found most valuable is communication between team members."

"The custom integration or bespoke integration through Slack APIs is the primary reason that we are still on Slack Business - Enterprise and we have never thought of migrating to any other vendors or exploring any other vendor."
"We use Slack for general communication, conference calls, and sharing screens because we have people working from different countries."
"The interface looks better to me, it is more easy to use, and everything is working okay for our purposes."

"I use Slack for communication with my colleagues."
"The most valuable feature of Yammer is that it provides integration with Teams."

Cons

"In terms of drawbacks or areas for improvement in Slack Business - Enterprise, maybe some small things could be better, such as coloring text; if the API could support HTML, that would be great, but I think there are reasons why they do not support HTML."
"The reason is we are moving towards a new CRM, so we have a suitable solution to integrate with the new CRM."
"One suggestion I would make for improving Slack Business - Enterprise is the support of multimedia such as images and videos that we can easily share through Slack."
"Slack's screen sharing might also add the remote control feature, which is not there."
"We could see improvement in Slack by having an integrated meeting tool. Currently, we rely on third-party integration tools like Zoom to schedule meetings. It would be much more convenient to schedule meetings directly within Slack without additional integrations. It needs to have calendar and CRM integrations as well."

"I faced some issues with Yammer's mobile app when I shifted from Android to iPhone, and it got a little bit tricky to use it on an iPhone, which took away some of my time."

"Microsoft should work on templating and provide some built-in templates so that the changes can automatically roll out to all the configured communities."
