ESET Endpoint Protection Platform Reviews

I have a very simple use case which is for providing protection on my home network.

ESET provides good protection.

I don't know if it's possible but I'm always looking for better protection. 

I've been using this solution for 10 years. 

The solution is stable. 

This product is for personal use so I haven't tested scalability.

The initial setup is straightforward, it takes a few minutes. 

I think the licensing costs are reasonable. 

If you're providing a solution that prevents people from gaining access to my network then I'm happy. I recommend this product and rate it 10 out of 10. 

We primarily use the solution for endpoint security. We use it on PCs, laptops, and software. It acts as an antivirus.

The solution is user-friendly with good memory. It's not heavy and very simple.

It is stable and reliable. 

We can scale the product if we need to.

The pricing is reasonable. 

It's easy to set up and quick to deploy. 

We'd like the solution to be a next generation antivirus with some sort of artificial intelligence or machine learning angle. 

I've used the solution for around ten years. 

The stability I'd rate eight out of ten. It's very reliable. There are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze. 

The scalability is good. I'd rate it seven out of ten. 

We have around 200 users on the solution right now. 

We previously used McAfee. However, it was too heavy for us. It needed too much memory.

The initial setup is pretty straightforward. I'd rate the ease of setup eight out of ten. 

Deployment should only be around two or three minutes. It is very fast.

While we bought the solution from a third-party, we installed the solution ourselves, in-house. 

We did not find the solution to be too expensive. 

The solution costs around $20 or $30 per user per year.

We're customers and end-users. 

We are using the latest version of the solution. 

Overall, I would rate the product eight out of ten. 

We just use the solution for ongoing coverage and protection against malware. We have it on our machines, and we just let it do its thing. It does its scans, and there's real-time monitoring. It is basically for everyday use, we just put it on and let it go.

Overall, it's a good product. It's transparent. It rarely gets in the way, and we don't even notice it scanning. 

When something does come up that's problematic, it comes up with a popup and lets you decide whether to delete or quarantine.

The solution is stable. 

I'm not aware of any areas that need improvement. 

What we need is the same as what we would need with any other malware product. It's got to keep up to date with the latest threats, which they do. It's always an ongoing thing with endpoint protection or really with any kind of security, you've got to be up on the latest threats.

I've used the solution for at least a couple of years. It's likely been around four or so.

The stability is perfect. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. 

I have not tried to scale the product. I wouldn't know if it scales. 

We have 20 employees on the product right now and about 15 endpoints. 

I've never used technical support. I can't speak to how helpful or responsive they are.

I'm not the network admin and therefore did not deal with the latest setup.

We have a network administrator that handles any necessary maintenance. 

I don't deal with licensing. I'm not sure as to what it costs. 

I'm an end-user.

From my experience, it's been solid, thorough, and transparent behind the scenes. It just does its thing. I'm very happy with it.

I would recommend it. I'd rate it nine out of ten.

I am using ESET Endpoint Security mainly for endpoint protection.

The most valuable feature of ESET Endpoint Security is that it is light on resources. It has a very low impact on the system. It uses low memory and the setup size is very low.

I have been using ESET Endpoint Security for approximately five years.

ESET Endpoint Security is highly stable.

I rate the stability of ESET Endpoint Security a five out of five.

The scalability of ESET Endpoint Security is good. If customers want to add more licensing, they can increase them.

We have approximately 45 people using the solution at all levels in my company.

The support is good ESET Endpoint Security. My engineers on occasion find the information they need online.

I was previously using Seqrite. Our internal team has done POC for ESET Endpoint Security and found many positive points. It was for an international company and the migration was simple.

After we did the initial setup of ESET Endpoint Security, we had to inform users about popups. This solution comes with an in-built software firewall and there can be some popups coming. We must tell the user not to keep, allow, or block anything. That is the main issue on the user side we have faced. The user's experience may not be as good.

We did the implementation of ESET Endpoint Security which took approximately  10 minutes to complete per system with two engineers.

ESET Endpoint Security is valuable for the money spent because it is lightweight on the system. We don't need to upgrade existing systems or resources, such as CPUs and memory. If there is an older system, it can run efficiently or function as required.

The price of  ESET Endpoint Security is affordable.

I rate the price of ESET Endpoint Security a four out of five.

The primary use case of ESET Endpoint Security is the antivirus.

The most valuable features of this solution are, of course, the IPS/IDS, Intrusion Prevention, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus.

I believe I can find it in the most recent version in a sandbox. Network Security in a Sandbox It includes seven different tools, including network security, IPS/IDS, and ESET which is also valuable.

It is easy to use.

The user interface is very easy. 

API integration is good. 

They have an iteration tool that makes the API connection flawless.

I don't see changing EDR in the cloud's future. Tool for being proactive. The proactive feature is excellent, but I do not believe ESET will make any changes to this feature in the future. But, proactive is excellent.

I would like to see ESET include the Proactive feature. The process is killed by decision support. Unplug the endpoint book station from the network.

If you do not use Cynet, it must be added to ESET Endpoint.

I have worked with ESET Endpoint Security for five years.

I have a three-year service agreement with ESET to sell green. It's been three years, and I believe it's near the end of the year. 

 I have no issues with ESET; it's the workstation's ESET and Cynet. I believe are perfect solutions.

I am working with EDR, it's a full version. We have updated it to the latest version.

It is a central update, it's cloud maintenance.

Because I do not have any sensitive data, it is sufficient to use the public cloud.

ESET Endpoint Security is very stable.

All of the update releases are very established.

I would rate the stability a nine, or ten out of ten.

I have not experimented with scalability.

With servers, we have approximately 3, 000 users in my department. This includes the hardware and virtual servers.

We have no issues with the local technical support team that we use in Israel.

I would rate them a five out of five.

They are excellent. 

They respond quickly and speak the language, which is beneficial.

I am working with a new Endpoint Security Company, and the name of the product is Cynet.

I am still working with Cynet.

Instead of Cynet, it is an EDR. It is now extended XDR. It is an extended response.

For Endpoint Security, I use both ESET and Cynet. However, unlike ESET, Cynet is a proactive tool. MDR is included. It is also paired with SOC.

One of the companies I oversee is one of the Mator company's branches, and they use Cisco Endpoint Security, which is a terrible tool when compared to ESET or Cynet.

The initial setup is very simple.

We require one person a few hours per month for maintenance.

I have about 3,000 endpoints and a three-person IT team.

I have purchased the full version.

I would rate the pricing a three out of five.

It is not expensive, but it is also not inexpensive. There is room for improvement, and the price could be lower.

I would rate ESET Endpoint Security an eight out of ten.

We primarily use the solution for security reasons, including for protection against antiviruses.

The protection and security have been great.

I like the integration; it lets you see the product installed on a particular computer.

There are good documentation and tutorial materials.

It's scalable. 

Right now, the link between the Protect Server and the proxy features don't really work as intended. 

I've had a few other instances where the program stops running, and then you have to restore and reset it. 

If those features can be worked on, that would be very helpful.

A bit more remote access would be ideal. 

I've been using the solution since about 2012. 

Sometimes it is not running as well. When it actually doesn't work properly, then the whole process of reinstalling it is more or less a tedious task. If they could actually work on that and make it a lot better, that would be good.

The product is the only one I've ever known so far in terms of such deployment. I'm not comparing it with any other solutions. I love the control that it gives you on even on a large scale. When we deployed now to over 100 users and it worked well. For us, it is scalable. 

Right now, we're up to 120 machines. It keeps increasing and therefore we will increase usage. 

I don't really deal with support. I mostly do my own research. I've never had to engage with support with the access I have to tutorials and documentation.

I did not previously use a different solution. 

It's a little bit complicated to set up. Even the deployment process for the endpoint that's deployed through GPO. Obviously, when you have the agent deployment is quite a challenge, so it just doesn't work as a straightforward deployment. You want the endpoint antivirus to be able to talk with the Protect Server. However, it's the deployment that's a bit of a challenge.

I'd rate it four out of five in terms of the ease of setup. 

The deployment takes longer than we anticipated. 

I just did the initial setup myself in-house.

I haven't witnessed an ROI. 

I was put on an educational discount. I paid about $1000. I'd have to look through my records. However, we paid maybe $600 to $1000 for this product. I pay for the product every two years. There are no extra costs or fees beyond the licensing. 

I'd advise others to use the solution. 

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten since I have yet to experience any intrusion. 

We only use Endpoint Server. 

Endpoint Security currently meets our needs. We are implementing a cyber-security process. After doing a lab analysis, we determined we have one more we need to implement. 

All of our devices are integrated with the solution. It is working so well that we renewed the contract for two more years.

When we rule a scanner process on the heart risk, it is very slow and overloads the machine. It would be beneficial if we could run a back process.

I would like to see more listings added in the next release of ESET Endpoint. The new versions only support no operative systems in Mac and do not support operative systems.

We have been using ESET Endpoint Security for two years.

The solution is stable.

ESET Endpoint Security is scalable, the performance can be increased. We have 500 people, including Managers and the IT team, using the solution. 

The product requires eight specialists to deploy and maintain.

Customer service and support are very helpful for us. When we have a problem, they help us immediately.

We have also used Kaspersky, but it was very slow.

The initial setup was easy for us. Our team has the tools and experience to manage implementation. It took 10 days to deploy throughout the enterprise.

It is difficult to measure ROI as we do not know what we could have lost without implementing ESET Endpoint Security. What we do know is that we do not have any attacks, and that is very important.

The pricing of ESET Endpoint Security is within the market pricing. We have an annual license. 

Before selecting ESET Endpoint Security, we evaluated Panda, McAfee, and Kaspersky.

I would recommend ESET Endpoint Security to anyone considering implementing this product.

I use for ESET Endpoint Antivirus to protect my personal and business files.

The performance of the solution is very good it does not impact my hardware and is user-friendly.

The solution could improve by having higher-level security and reporting.

I have been using ESET Endpoint Antivirus for approximately six years.

ESET Endpoint Antivirus is stable.

I have found ESET Endpoint Antivirus scalable.

We have approximately 150 users using this solution.

I have not faced an issue that I would need to contact the support.

I have used Kaspersky and Trend Micro previously.

The installation is straightforward.

When comparing ESET Endpoint Antivirus to other antivirus programs, such as Trend Micro or Kaspersky, it is the best. The other two were too heavy on the system resources, it consumes a lot of hardware. Additionally, they could not detect auto-run viruses.

I would recommend this solution to others.
