One of the reasons we are considering HPE Ezmeral Container Platform is that the price is good compared to Cloudera. It is a stable product and offers many functions, including a unifying feature for hybrid solutions. We believe it might be cheaper as Cloudera requires more expensive investments to scale up.
What needs improvement?
HPE Ezmeral Container Platform is not user-friendly and has many parts that are more difficult than Cloudera. It is also a complex solution and has low features for data management. For example, it cannot make a data catalog or process data lineage without third-party support, which increases the cost for development.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the HPE Ezmeral Container Platform for about one year. However, I only lead the technical team and am not involved in development.

HPE's technical support is helpful, more so than Cloudera's support since HPE has local support in Thailand.

I have used Cloudera and Informatica. We have not replaced Informatica, as we currently use it for data management alongside Cloudera.

The installation team possibly comprised three engineers who planned for one month for installation and configuration, although it might have taken two to three weeks.
What was our ROI?
Using HPE Ezmeral Container Platform might be cheaper than Cloudera because Cloudera requires more expensive investments to scale.
