Administrative tools and graphical interface require improvement, particularly in web-based management and integration with HPE OneView.
Stability and robustness of switches need enhancement, including options for smaller, compact models and more scalability.
More feature-rich solutions are desired, with faster interfaces and high-speed ports such as 25 gigabits.

The most valuable feature is that you have a very flexible product, as you can mix the ports and set up based on your network needs, and it can even compensate for fractions of fans or power supplies, which can easily be exchanged, for example.

It is not really extendable. You have no interlink features for using it as a core, as it was intended for in the beginning.

Our inter-site linking could be better, which affects quality of service, but the actual ProCurve itself just keeps going.

It has been very stable, except for the last couple years. We had more than one broker switch fail, which is rare.

The only things that might need improvement would be the administrative tools and the graphical interface. The GUI could be improved on the administrative interface, for example.

The solution doesn't have web-based management, which is why we've moved to a different solution.

We do occasionally have issues with the solution and need to change out the switches sometimes. This can be due to the fan, but, in most cases, it's because the power supply was broken.
