Pandora FMS is lightweight, capable of monitoring up to two hundred agents with only 4GB of RAM from a single console. It offers auto-discovery and automatic network topology detection. Custom module creation is simplified, and a wide range of protocols are supported. The architecture is open and scalable. However, initial setup of local Software Agents is tedious, and it lacks APIs for integration. Proper training and better support communication are recommended.
