|---|---|---|
| Fraud Strategist(Actimize/SAS) at a financial services firm with 10,001+ employees | 4.5 | I appreciate the load balancing feature of SQL Power Data Quality, but I believe the normalization factor needs improvement for better scaling. Additionally, making it more user-friendly and enhancing the ease of exporting reports would be beneficial. |
| Portfolio Manager at a retailer with 10,001+ employees | 4.0 | I find this solution easy to use, flexible, and stable, integrating well. My only concerns are limited portfolio roadmap creation and online-only support, but setup was easy and cost-effective. I rate it 8/10. |
| CEO at a tech company with 51-200 employees | 5.0 | I find SQL Power excellent for maintaining data integrity, debugging, and removing duplicates, significantly boosting my productivity. Although OS compatibility and integration can be challenging, it's a proven product that makes data cleaning efficient. |
| BI Developer at Cndro LLC | 4.0 | I primarily use SQL Power Data Quality for data cleanup, transformation, and integration into databases. Its valuable features include Nomo and select form for better structuring. Improvements are needed in downtime issues. I previously used Alteryx and deploy on AWS. |
I like the load balancing feature.
The normalization factor should be improved so that it is better scaled. It should be more user-friendly.
It should be easier to export reports.
I've been using SQL Power Data Quality for 10 years.
SQL Power Data Quality is stable.
It is a scalable solution. We have over 1,000 SQL Power Data Quality users in our organization.
The initial setup is easy and took about two days.
I would recommend SQL Power Data Quality and give it a rating of nine out of ten.
The solution is very easy to use and it's quite flexible.
The solution is able to integrate with many systems and other products.
The only area of improvement that we've come across within the solution was the portfolio roadmap creation. There's a bit of limitation there, but otherwise, the tool itself is very good.
I've been using a solution for three or four years.
The stability is quite good, due to the fact that it is on the cloud.
The technical support is online. If I were to rate it from one to ten, it would be a seven. We are moderately satisfied with the level of service. The fact that it is only online makes it a bit limiting.
The initial setup was very easy. We found it straightforward. The deployment was three or four years ago, so I'm not sure how long deployment took us.
For what we are using the solution for, and the number of users we have, we only need to use the base plan offered by the solution. We can't find a solution that's cheaper.
I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. If it offered portfolio roadmap creation, I'd rate it higher.
The only advice I would give to other users considering the solution is that they must have a dedicated resource that is able to work with the solution.
• SQL Power is a useful tool in maintaining data integrity. The GUI interface which is also intuitive provides an excellent avenue to quick debugging of data.
• It offers extensive support to developers in critical areas such as matching of functions and transformation which when done manually proves to be quite a challenge.
• The match engine is vital a component afforded by SQL Power in removing duplicates in both source and target data.
• SQL Power does not run on all operating system platforms. Many developers who are used to open source OS find it hard to access this tool.
• Integrating SQL Power with the system is challenging especially in places where no tutorials found and new versions continue to be released with varying requirements.
SQL Power Data Quality is truly a proven product that makes the work of cleaning data in both source and target data easy yet efficient. As a developer, I used to find the debugging part of project development quite challenging before I learned to use SQL Power tools. Honestly, this is not the case now. If productivity is to be achieved in a significant scale, I think SQL Power is a suitable choice.

I use SQL most of the time to clean up the data, transform it, and then push it into the database. We extract data from apps and from websites using a lot of applications. We do that using Python. We used Outlook before to pull data from, the source and then log into Snowflake.
The Nomo, select form, and so on are the most valuable features. We do a lot of stuff with CDL, and a CTE. We do this to structure SQL in such a way that is a bit reasonable and easy to read.
Downtime issues should be improved.
I have been using SQL Power Data Quality for four years.
There is some downtime, but most of the time the solution is stable.
It is a scalable solution. Presently, five to twenty workers are working on the solution.
I previously used Alteryx.
The initial setup was seamless.
It is a very good solution and I recommend it. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.
