Compared to other orchestrators, UiPath Orchestrator is more user-friendly. UiPath Orchestrator is a product that can be used with a lower level of knowledge. Compared to the orchestrator in Blue Prism, which is usually already integrated with Blue Prism Control Room, everything in UiPath Orchestrator is better categorized. It's easier to find what you want on UiPath Orchestrator. With UiPath Orchestrator, you also have a lot of other functionalities, which is much more than what Blue Prism offers.
UiPath Orchestrator is sometimes a bit clunky, and a few things don't work in the tool as they should. For instance, when working with queues and things like that, you may want to do some operations on transaction items, but you won't be able to do so because of the product's UI limitations, which may be frustrating. I think the aforementioned areas are where I have complaints about UiPath Orchestrator.
The product's technical support team is not bad, but I feel there is room for improvement.
With UiPath Orchestrator, my complaint stems from the part of the tool consisting of the interaction with queues, which I think needs to be a little more flexible to be able to manipulate the transaction items as intended with not so many restrictions on cloning, making it easier to create new transaction items, because nowadays, you have to import or clone it.
I have experience with UiPath Orchestrator for three or four years. My company has a partnership with UiPath.
From what I have seen, it is a reliable tool. I rate the product's stability a nine out of ten, considering that I have seen some instances of time out and stuff like that, but it's very rare.
I rate the product's technical support team with a lower number since I have seen some delays in response from their end. The support could be a little bit better. The product's documentation also lacks in some areas. I have some experience with on-premises orchestrators, considering which UiPath Orchestrator's support and documentation could be better.
I rate the product's technical support team a seven out of ten.
I have experience with Blue Prism.
The product is easy to implement.
UiPath Orchestrator is a pretty good tool for orchestration. I don't have any complaints with UiPath Orchestrator since I feel it is a complete solution.
I work in Portugal, and I have seen that some of my company's clients don't have much financial capacity to buy Blue Prism or UiPath, which are standard market solutions. I think UiPath nowadays falls a little bit on the premium side. I would not recommend Blue Prism or UiPath for small-scale customers with little profit margins and small RPA projects with small teams. I think using more low-cost tools like Power Automate and other open-source tools is better.
I rate the overall tool a nine out of ten.
