Provides valuable modern folder structure, but the scalability could be enhanced for complex environments
Pros and Cons
  • "The initial setup was straightforward."
  • "The product could improve by migrating more functionalities from the cloud to the on-premises version sooner."

What is our primary use case?

We use UiPath Orchestrator daily to view logs and configure machines. We employ a modern folder structure and have developed a dashboard based on the logs we get to the database.

How has it helped my organization?

The solution has improved workflow efficiency by helping us better manage transactions and queues. However, recent increases in licensing costs have been a concern.

What is most valuable?

The platform's modern folder structure has been valuable because it helps organize and manage automation processes effectively.

What needs improvement?

The product could improve by migrating more functionalities from the cloud to the on-premises version sooner. Additionally, scalability could be enhanced.

Future releases should include more AI-related features to automate configurations and management tasks to reduce manual effort.

The solution has good stability, but its UI should be improved and made more user-friendly
Pros and Cons
  • "UiPath Orchestrator is a stable solution."
  • "UiPath Orchestrator should improve its UI and make it more user-friendly."

What is most valuable?

UiPath Orchestrator is a stable solution.

What needs improvement?

UiPath Orchestrator should improve its UI and make it more user-friendly. The solution's governing policies feature could also be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been testing UiPath Orchestrator for a few months.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

UiPath Orchestrator is a scalable solution, but it would require a lot more configuration compared to other products to be able to scale effectively.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have previously worked with Aiwozo, Power Automate, and Automation Anywhere.

Aiwozo has a multi-tenanted architecture. So I like that about the product. The simple Kibana-style structure of moving processes from one environment to another and the rule-based password control policy are useful features of Aiwozo.

Multi-culture automation is something that quite a few of our international clients demand, and the ease with which I can switch from one language to another is also important to me. That is why I've recommended Aiwozo to most of my clients.

What other advice do I have?

UiPath Orchestrator has the capabilities. Compared to other programs, UiPath Orchestrator has some nuances that can be improved upon. The new-age automation tools, like Aiwozo, are a little easier to use than UiPath Orchestrator.

I would ask users to look at their automation use case and see if there is a need for certain functions. Often, people load different functions into a simple automation project, making it more complex.

Overall, I rate UiPath Orchestrator a seven out of ten.
