| Executive Manager at a construction company | 4.5 | I find WORKetc a great, albeit complex, tool for project, finance, and CRM. Support is excellent, and I've experienced no major issues, though I await a new UI and a mobile version for a lighter experience. |
| Director at a non-tech company with 51-200 employees | 4.5 | I find this solution remarkably powerful, offering outstanding support and significant ROI by streamlining email into projects. While the UI needs a refresh, version 5 is coming, and initial adoption effort pays off. |
| Principal at a real estate/law firm with 51-200 employees | 4.0 | I find WorkETC an excellent, robust CRM that organizes projects, streamlines operations, and aids our growth. Though its UI feels old school and initial setup was complex, its great functionality and support make it worthwhile. |
We use it as a team management tool and online service for billing and finance management, and contact management as well.
We are waiting for a new UI design, and also I think that not having a mobile version is a weakness.
I think I have used it for 7 years.
I haven't encountered deployment issues.
I haven't encountered stability issues.
I haven't encountered scalability issues.
Customer service is excellent.
Technical Support:Technical support is excellent.
I just tried some different solutions but WORKetc was the best solution.
I think initial setup was complex. I understand that there was an idea about great service and they followed it.
It was implemented as an in-house tool.
I'm not sure about ROI.
I don't know about pricing and licensing; we use the free version because we help with the translation of service.
Before choosing this product, I did not evaluate other options.
WORKetc is a great tool; complex and useful; maybe even too complex with a lot of customized options. For my team, an even lighter and more simplified version would be even more useful. Anyway, it's a great online service.
The most valuable feature is the ability to channel all email via a single address into projects based around the employees or teams that are working on them.
It has completely removed the onerous round robin cc'ing of emails, having to read mails of no relevance, as well as the necessity of continually asking if a specific person had heard back from a specific client.
The UI needs to move forward to a refreshed version but this is in the works.
The UI (user interface) in a web browser is currently version 4.
Although already good as it is, a 5th version is apparently in progress that will substantially upgrade both the appearance as well as the ergonomics of the service. This is currently under testing internally and due to be released sometimesoon for public beta.
I have used it for five years.
There was initial employee skepticism... but easily overcome. Also, the need to adapt it slightly to the specifics of the company make adoption a little work - but the payoff is that it works much better in the long run than the quicker out-of-the-box alternatives.
We have not encountered any stability issues.
We have not encountered any scalability issues so far...
Customer service is outstanding.
Technical Support:Technical support is outstanding.
We did not previously use a different solution.
Initial setup was relatively simple, but to get the best out of it requires some attention to detail as to how you will use it.
We implemented it in-house.
Our ROI is easily a staff member for every 10 people using it.
For what you get, I feel it's a very fair offering.
We evaluated lots of options in detail before deciding that WorkETC was the best: Basecamp, Zoho, ...
It is deceptively simple but remarkably powerful.
If you try it - persist for a while - the payoff will become evident even if initially adoption seems a little like hard work. Plus, the WorkETC team offer free onboarding, so you have help available.
We love the way WorkETC allows us to organise all of our projects in one place. It's a very robust CRM with an excellent search functionality. Gantt charts and To-dos are all well organised and with constant optimisation by the development team - there's always good things coming.
Creating a streamlined process from sales through to completion of projects has made an immense difference to our operations. Previously we had a bunch of different pieces of software for each function with the same database of clients which created a lot of fragmentation. WorkETC combines all the key functionalities so everything is in one place.
UI development has been under way for quite some time - will be great to see when it comes out.
It just feels that the current UI is a bit old school. This doesn't mean that it doesn't work; it just lacks a bit of the modern styling that the new UI is meant to address.
But I guess the team is more focused on the functionality elements of the new upgrade, rather than just doing the upgrade for its own sake; just to give it a facelift.
Other than that - it matches our needs really well.
About 4 years now.
It took a bit of time to bring the data in - but once the initial set was in and all the contacts were tagged, from there on its been pretty smooth.
None.
None.
Great.
Technical Support:Haven't had to use them.
Previously we used ACT CRM, Basecamp as well as trialling a couple of other CRM solutions for a short time. We switched because WorkETC could provide Gantt charting and sales funnels in the same solution.
It was fairly complex as there were lots of settings to set up, permissions for user access in different roles and tags. But once this was set up - we are continually optimising the settings to make it work for us better.
We implemented it in-house.
We've grown in the last three years at an average rate of 36% - I would definitely attribute a part of that growth to implementing a scalable robust system to work on.
Pricing is pretty reasonable compared to other solutions.
Once installed - stick with it and make it work. It takes a bit of time getting used to this solution - but overall its excellent.
