Has improved process coverage and integration while offering strong analytics and user experience
The analytics and reporting functionalities of Oracle CRM are good. I would rate them eight to nine out of ten, but it slightly falls behind Salesforce, which is much more advanced in terms of meeting the process and analytics part. The integration of Oracle CRM with other Oracle applications is seamless; that's not a problem at all. The biggest advantage of Oracle CRM for me is the process coverage, ease of use, the UI, and obviously a good amount of analytics; these are the few strengths and seamless integration with any platform. The multichannel service support has an impact on my customer service operations.

The project and task management features are valuable.
Project and task management Finance and bill management CRM We use it as a team management tool and online service for billing and finance management, and contact management as well. We are waiting for a new UI design, and also I think that not having a mobile version is a weakness. I think I…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"During the demos, Oracle CRM's natural language search feature stood out to me. It departs from the traditional menu-based options, making searches more intuitive. Another significant feature is their Common Data Platform. Including an accounting package as part of the full platform was also appealing."
"It is difficult to highlight the most valuable features because the system as a whole works very well for our loyal program. It is a very good system and I believe that they are the oldest loyalty system on the market. The service is very good, with many customizable options, and has a strong database to help us build our rules and point systems for the loyal program."
"Case management, incident management, and request management features are valuable."
"The wing-to-wing integration of applications is one of the most strong features of Oracle CRM."
"We believe that Oracle is the most powerful service module over other products."
"It is a very good system and I believe that they are the oldest loyalty system on the market."
"Currently it's meeting all our needs, hence the migration about six months ago that we moved from on-premise to OCI, to the cloud-based platform to add additional capacity and analytics."
"Oracle CRM accommodates client needs, potentially reducing licensing costs with a pay-as-you-go approach. It also allows for the standardization of processes and reporting, which is important for our organization. Additionally, integration through APIs improves connectivity."
"Creating a streamlined process from sales through to completion of projects has made an immense difference to our operations."
"WORKetc is a great tool; complex and useful; maybe even too complex with a lot of customized options."
"It is deceptively simple but remarkably powerful."

Cons

"My experience with Oracle when it comes to price negotiation was very bad."
"Getting technical support from Oracle involved going through commercial layers, which could sometimes cause delays. The attention received depended on the client's status and spending with Oracle. Clients with significant spending received global attention and a corporate account manager, while those with lower spending had to work with a local account manager, which wasn't always beneficial. This process could lead to delays in getting technical issues resolved. I am not satisfied with its support."
"The product support, sharing the integration standards with major products or solutions and also for custom ones which am sure that will be a challenge for Oracle itself, support for REST out of the box will be required."
"The interface could be more user friendly. It is currently not intuitive, and it can be better. The onboarding process for the end users of this solution could be easier, and there should be a few more things for user knowledge and training. It takes a lot of technical knowledge to get used to it."
"The configuration requires a lot of technical intervention."
"Their support could be faster. Like any other solution provider, in some cases, it takes time to get their response, and sometimes, they do not fix the issue in the first round. Therefore, we have to go through another round."
"A specialized team is required for managing Oracle, which is extra overhead for the customer."
"Oracle CRM can improve integration and performance."
"It just feels that the current UI is a bit old school."
"The UI needs to move forward to a refreshed version but this is in the works."
"We are waiting for a new UI design, and also I think that not having a mobile version is a weakness."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The costing for this solution is very high. It targets top tier companies. This solution can be split up into multiple modules to cater to the low tier customers."
"The solution is expensive."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a twelve. Oracle CRM is on the expensive side."
"There are licenses needed to use this solution and they are managed by our product team."
"The licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The cost of a license with support is slightly higher than a regular license."
"Oracle is very expensive, but you have to pay to get this kind of scalability and database flexibility."
"Every year, we have new users, and we get new licenses. It depends on various things such as the number of users and expansion of our business lines."
