The pricing cost for Files.com is very straightforward. We pay on a per-user basis right now, and if we grow and utilize more features, I'm sure we will look into an enterprise-type license.
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been that it's pretty affordable, with our license renewing every year, and the setup cost appears to be good, although I have not been with the company long enough to establish that yet.
I personally do not have any experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Files.com. Files.com predates when I took this role, and we have had it for quite some time. That part of the decision was all before me.

Involvement in the pricing, setup cost, and licensing part of Files.com was not direct, as the director took care of that. However, the director is very good at that, and would not have gone forward with this tool if it was not at least competitive. The services that were provided with implementation and support definitely justified what is being spent.

Regarding pricing and setup costs, they have been favorable for our size, with minimal setup involved since it is a SaaS-based system, and licensing is straightforward and easy to manage.
