|---|---|---|
| Staff/ Specialty at a comms service provider with 501-1,000 employees | 4.0 | I found Grovo easy to use with a great look, and support was top-notch. Initial setup was straightforward, and it's stable and scalable. My only improvement would be better reporting customization. |
| Talent Manager with 1,001-5,000 employees | 5.0 | We value Grovo for custom training creation, local control, and excellent customer service. While deployment is ongoing, we've had no stability issues, though we wish for better training assignment and more admin layers. |
| Training Coordinator with 1,001-5,000 employees | 4.0 | We find setup complex, with sales promises not matching reality and limiting content difficult. Customizable tracks and short videos are valuable. We advise involving technical teams before contract finalization for better implementation. |
| Director, Resource Development at a consultancy with 51-200 employees | 5.0 | I appreciate the flexible Instructor Led Training and excellent support, with exciting new features constantly added. Setup was straightforward. My main suggestion is to add folder capability for modules, as the current long list is daunting. |
| Director of Marketing with 51-200 employees | 4.0 | Grovo's video-quiz and document distribution are valuable, with straightforward setup and excellent customer service. We reached our user goal, though bulk video upload is a needed improvement for us. |
Ease of use, and nice look and feel to the end users – both very valuable to us.
Better customization of reporting inside of Grovo instead of creating outside of the platform at an additional cost.
Our organization has been using Grovo for 2 months.
Reporting had a few bugs – nothing major.
No, no issues with stability.
No issues with scalability.
Top Notch!
Technical Support:Top Notch!
The other solution's support was not good at all.
Pretty straight forward.
Vendor team and level of expertise was superb.
Yes: we evaluated UDUTU, EZLCMS, and Skillner.
If you "Go Grovo" you will be happy with the product, product support and service level provided.
Most valuable features of Grovo are creating your own trainings, and being able to upload your own stuff alongside their content.
It has put the power at the local level -- we aren’t pushing down, from corporate, what people should be training on. Local administrators can now decide that.
Grouping and assigning trainings. Also, would like another admin layer built into the product.
We have been using Grovo for a few months.
Haven’t really deployed company-wide yet – no issues yet.
No, we have not had any issues with stability.
No, we have not had any issues with scalability.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. It's a huge reason why we decided to go with Grovo. The support is unmatched.
Technical Support:Amazing -- again, unmatched.
The other one was stagnant, boring, and we only got 2 30 min, pre packaged modules per month.
We evaluated Skillshare, Target Internet, and The Knowledge Engineers.
Valuable features are customizable learning tracks, and single sign on.
We have not yet rolled out access to our organization yet, but I think that the short videos will increase usage over our previous platform, which were much longer tutorials.
Access and seamless integration with other learning management systems.
We’ve been using Grovo for less than 1 month.
No specific issues with deployment.
No issues with stability.
Yes - in order to limit the number of available courses available, the process seems to be different than what was described when we signed our contract. We want more corporate training available and to limit what we would consider "personal" (ex. Etsy, Amazon). Limiting our library is not necessarily an issue but it is not necessarily easy.
8/10.
Technical Support:7/10.
Yes - wanted something new with shorter modules.
Complex. I think a lot of the things agreed on or promised in the initial sales discussion are proving to be more difficult or do not work the way we understood them to now that we are in set up mode.
In-house.
Not sure of day-to-day cost – contract is for $40,000.
Yes – we evaluated both Skillsoft and Vodeclic.
Speak to someone on the technical side and not just the sales person. Have the people doing the set up on both sides meet prior to finalizing a contract. This will improve the set up process and probably speed it up as well.
I appreciate the flexibility that the new Instructor Led Training offers, and visual graphics for tracking users, etc.
We launched this platform recently so we are in the early stages, but it will definitely help us organize and track our internal training
I look forward to the capability of putting materials in folders by category...as currently the long list of modules is daunting.
A few weeks, and each week I see exciting new features added...something tells me it will surpass my expectations.
No issues with deployment...great support at all times.
No issues with stability.
No...although that will be tested later!
Excellent.
Technical Support:Excellent.
We previously used SharePoint, and the work processes were too cumbersome.
Initial setup was straightforward...we had single sign-on right away.
In-house
I don't measure day-to-day internal input as a cost...it is a savings as we will be benefitting from sharing knowledge.
Yes...Silk Road and many others.
It is affordable, and the support team is solid.
Distributing quiz content alongside video and ability to upload documents are the most valuable features.
We no longer need to utilize email for distribution of documents related to syllabus/online courses.
Bulk video upload is a must.
We have utilized Grovo for ~6 months.
No, we have not had issues with deployment.
We had a few slight hiccups with stability, but they were minor.
No, we had no issues with scalability.
I would rate the customer service a 10/10.
Technical Support:I would rate the technical support an 8/10.
No, we did not use another solution before Grovo.
Initial setup was very straightforward, user friendly, simple to use, clean design.
200 actively engaged users, which was our goal.
Establish an internal work flow – will make utilizing Grovo much easier.
