Everything has worked better since we started using it
Sometimes the syncing is inconsistent. I'm confident that the devices are checking in every eight hours, but sometimes the devices aren't picking up the settings as quickly as I would expect. Some features haven't been updated in a while, and Microsoft doesn't seem interested in developing them. Unless you talk to an engineer, you don't know whether there will be an update. There are communication issues, so you might start working with a feature without knowing if it will be deprecated six months from now. Some reporting areas still need development. For example, I noticed that the reporting for driver updates is still confusing.

Used to control mobile devices
Remote Wipe is one of the vital options everybody looks for in 42Gears SureMDM or any MDM product. We are trying to get the latest product updates as much as possible, and it is mostly automated. Two to three engineers are involved in the solution’s maintenance. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.

Versatile device management simplifies device security and configuration while offering cost-effective options
I appreciate Samsung Knox because I have all solutions in one portal, including Knox Manage, Knox Configure, Enrollment, and E-FOTA. Samsung Knox is particularly valuable because I can manage not only Samsung devices but also Xiaomi, Huawei, and other Android devices. Additionally, I can create GPOs with Windows. The integration of Samsung Knox is straightforward because we can enroll devices across all types of Android devices, including Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, and TCL. You can enroll with the IMEI for Samsung devices or use a command with Google Play to enroll Knox Manage and apply all policies. Through the Windows Store, you can install Knox Manage and manage Windows devices similar to using GPOs in Windows or InTune, but at a lower cost. Samsung Knox helps manage work profiles in my case because all devices are managed and protected through encryption. The devices are encrypted with a password and assigned to different organizations or groups depending on the department.

Cons

"Microsoft Intune's app deployment presents challenges for non-MSI and non-store apps, particularly EXEs, requiring the use of a Win32 wrapper tool and adding overhead to the process."
"We would like to see support for Chrome and/or devices for Chromebooks."
"Lacking in features such as Wi-Fi and network security."

"There are a few security features that are not available in Microsoft Intune, when compared to other products."
"The reporting needs to be a bit more interactive."
"Sometimes, customers compare it with AirWatch, but the concept of Intune is different from other solutions. It's an application management app. It gets a bit difficult to explain it to customers, but it's not a product limitation. It takes a presale document or presentation to explain it to customers."
"Reporting and troubleshooting for the application deployment could be better. It's very difficult to understand."
"As a partner, we consider 42Gears to be a unified endpoint management (UEM) solution. So, we should be able to manage users with this particular solution. This is something that is currently not there. It is probably an area for improvement for 42Gears."
"The solution’s pricing could be made cheaper."
"The product is not so convenient to deploy or to configure."
"42Gears SureMDM needs to improve support because it may take around one to two days to receive a revert."
"Online information regarding used cases specific to 42Gears SureMDM will help us do configuration changes more comfortably."
"The dashboards could be improved."
"User creation on Mac must be improved."
"The user interface and customization features are not the best and could be improved."
"Features like private DNS would be very useful if pushed through Knox Manage."
"Samsung Knox needs to expand customer features across all devices, not just Samsung devices."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is cheaper than our company's other MDM tools."
"Microsoft Intune is moderately priced. There is a monthly license required to use the solution and it is approximately eight dollars per month."
"The cost is somewhat on the higher side, particularly when considering certain price points, especially in markets like India."
"The product is expensive."
"Every customer used to purchase licenses based on their needs."
"Pricing can be improved."
"For Microsoft 365 E5 clients, cost is not an issue as this product is one of the benefits."
"They have categorized the licenses according to the size of the business. So, if it's a smaller organization, we can choose the license accordingly. If it's a big organization, then we can choose accordingly. Everything is clearly mentioned, and we can decide. It's suitable for all kinds of infrastructure, and that's very goo"
"I rate the tool's pricing a four out of ten."
"We pay a yearly licensing fee for 42Gears SureMDM, which is comparatively expensive for an enterprise license."
"42Gears SureMDM is not an expensive solution."
"There is an option to make yearly or monthly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. Price-wise, the product is okay."
"The tool is expensive and priced at 39 dollars yearly. The pricing is fixed and I would rate it a seven-point five out of ten."
"I am satisfied with the price of this solution."
"Their pricing structure is very good against the competition. Pricing is definitely not a challenge here."
