Strong security reporting has supported our consulting work and drives better integration choices
I rated Adlumin Security Operations probably the same as Huntress at eight. They are better at reporting and better integrations. The integrations in terms of the number of integrations you can run from them or connect to are not as many as available with Huntress, but they have easier implementation. Overall, I would say it is the same. I do not want to see any additional features in the next release of Adlumin Security Operations, but I would change the pricing a little bit for around SIEM integrations and SIEM data collection. That is probably the maximum I would do. I do not really have much to say because that is literally five percent of our deployments versus ninety-five percent being Huntress. My overall rating for this review is eight.

Enhanced security team efficiency and proactive threat management with room to improve alert management and cost-efficiency
There are several issues we are facing with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, including data overload, noise, and false positive alerts. We experience alert fatigue, contextual gaps, integration complexity, and timeliness of intelligence challenges in our environment. Areas that should be improved include noise reduction, prioritization, real-time delivery, and advanced threat coverage. The filtering algorithm should be improved to address these concerns.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We normally focus on Huntress."
"It is a very good solution. It can provide detection and response in an extensive way, and for an endpoint, it can integrate the information that comes from the servers."
"It works as a security device and provides an extra layer of security to our devices and computers."
"What's most valuable about CrowdStrike Falcon Complete as an endpoint security solution is that it provides different features against malware outbreaks. The solution is also cloud-based so it offers flexibility in terms of managing it. It's also easy to deploy the agent and you can deploy it through CrowdStrike, your CloudStrike console, or you can take that agent out and you can use different solutions to deploy it through your group policy, your SSCM, or any asset management tool."
"The real-time response features are valuable for us."
"The endpoint detection and response is very valuable."
"Endpoint protection is the most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete at this moment."
"We found the initial setup to be quick and easy for the most part."
"The threat response from this solution is very comprehensive. It not only allows us to detect the threat, but also to isolate it and check the recovery capability of the compromised system."

Cons

"Adlumin Security Operations's functionality is probably slightly better, but implementation and integration with Office 365 was not as straightforward."
"The one issue with Falcon Complete is that it can't be run manually if you find any viruses or malicious files in a post."
"I have found customer support to be fairly good but it could be quicker."
"I would like to see CrowdStrike Falcon Complete XDR integrate more effectively with other technologies."
"We're a small organization. I'm not sure how it would fare if you were larger and had more and more users and added complexity."
"Its reporting feature could be user-friendly."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is not providing application control. This is a very useful feature in any endpoint security because if you want to block any malicious activity of any particular application, you can not block it in this solution. However, you are able to block hashes, but not executable files or processes. Additionally, this solution does not provide a user risk score. These are two areas that CrowdStrike Falcon Complete can improve on in the future."
"We'd like the pricing to be a bit lower in the future."
"I would improve the Operational Technology environment functionalities."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution needs to have human involvement, they could improve by having more automation where the solution can take the necessary action on time and more accurately."
"We have a yearly license, and it could be cheaper."
"The average price is approximately $500 per customer."
"The licensing cost for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is fair, and I would give it a five out of five. You have to pay per device/user."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is very expensive in comparison to Bitdefender."
