Managed real-time data has powered low-latency personalization and reduced operational effort
Aerospike Cloud Managed Service can be improved in several ways. The learning curve is a challenge for beginners, especially compared to MongoDB or Redis, which are more user-friendly. Additionally, there is a smaller ecosystem with fewer tools and communities compared to MongoDB and Redis. While the managed service cost can be expensive for startups, large media enterprises may not feel the financial burden. Performance tuning is needed, as some areas still require faster processing for customers. We still receive complaints about the time it takes to load ads, and the query flexibility is limited, lacking a rich query language such as SQL or document databases. The needed improvements for Aerospike Cloud Managed Service include transparent pricing tiers similar to MongoDB Atlas, better developer enterprise UI for simplicity, a larger ecosystem and integration, simplified onboarding tutorials, and native analytics with stronger SQL-like query layers.

Flexible monthly infrastructure has simplified management and improved client cost control
Some valuable points about HPE GreenLake are that it is a managed solution in the same pane of glass. HPE GreenLake integrates well with the existing infrastructure, and it is straightforward. HPE GreenLake positively impacts my organization because it saves money and time, and it improves my sales because I have another solution to reduce costs for the client. The client may need to pay two thousand dollars to change every infrastructure in one payment, but not all clients have the total amount available. However, if it is possible to pay month-to-month for the solution, it is much easier for the client to accept the proposal. HPE GreenLake's real-time monitoring tools are good, and I really need them to improve the services.

Pros

"Almost 4x improvement happened when we moved to Aerospike Cloud Managed Service."
"After switching to Aerospike Cloud Managed Service, I have seen positive changes, including cost savings and the service being completely managed by the Aerospike team itself."
"Saving data into Aerospike in a NoSQL format is beneficial."
"Aerospike Cloud Managed Service has made everyone's life easier and reduced the efforts involved in the learning curve, helping us save around twenty percent of our time."
"Aerospike is a NoSQL database, allowing us to store extensive data and perform read and write operations rapidly, resolving our inventory-related performance issues."
"HPE has delivered on all their promises for this service."
"Its performance is a significant improvement over the legacy stack that we had."
"My clients are receiving a return on investment, this is why they are using it."
"It offers businesses the flexibility and scalability of the public cloud while having their infrastructure on-premises."
"It has brought newer technology in more quickly, with a lower risk of failure, helped us plan better, enabled extensive virtualization so we can bring in less gear to accomplish the same things, and made our infrastructure more consistent by keeping hardware generations closer together."
"It is the flexible way to pay for everything that you need and pay as you go."
"In the next four years over the lifespan of the first segment, it's going to be saving us approximately $1.2 million in just hardware purchases and software support costs."

Cons

"Enhancing performance would be beneficial."
"Enhancing performance would be beneficial. While it is already fast, the industry is continuously moving towards even faster solutions, and performance issues can become apparent."
"Aerospike Cloud Managed Service can be improved in several ways. The learning curve is a challenge for beginners, especially compared to MongoDB or Redis, which are more user-friendly."
"Overall, I think Aerospike Cloud Managed Service is quite good, but I believe the UI console is functional and could be made better."
"One improvement I think Aerospike Cloud Managed Service could make is adding more customizations because we have less control on the underlying infrastructure."
"Unfortunately, HPE GreenLake can be sold only in Bahrain, UAE, and the Middle East, meaning it can be sold in only three or four countries because it requires certain approvals from countries where it has to be used."
"I don't think we'll know until we get to the end of the contract if the service has saved us money."
"I think the solution has cost us money. It hasn't decreased the time it takes to deploy IT projects."
"HPE GreenLake can improve the price."
"I would really like to see more granularity in the costing model. That's the one limitation that we do have: We have a lot of departments. We want to be able to break down, in a granular way, that this department is using X amount of resources, that department is using Y amount of resources... I want to be able to tag it and say, "This is this department's fees, this is that department's fees." That way I could charge back internally to my own departments."
"I would like to have more detail in the monitoring."
"I am still struggling with monitoring, particularly with OpsRamp, which is not fully customized to our needs, especially for disaster recovery."
"The time to receive a price when I am going to a proposal is too long."

"Pricing is based on usage plateaus. The more you use, the more you pay."
"The price could be more flexible."
"We have reduced a lot of our VMware licensing costs."
"If you are looking to turn some of your capital expense into operational expense, this allows you to do it. It is a good idea."
"HPE GreenLake has been growing in popularity due to its subscription model. The flexibility of the solution allows it to adapt to the changing market trends towards more edge performance and workloads."
"In terms of pricing, it's a bit on the higher side."
"It is significantly less expensive than going to cloud for development... Our cost is approximately $25,000 a month."
