Available to users at a very low price but needs improvement in the firewall area
The product is very easy to install. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6200, OmniSwitch 6300, or OmniSwitch 6600, you can install it in an hour and a half quickly without any problem implementing the configuration, but it's not stable. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6400, OmniSwitch 6800, or OmniSwitch 9700, mostly the tools are limited in terms of the protocol. The switch cannot be managed to manage the power of our ethernet. For example, if we connect an iPhone to the switch, 740 watts will be required, but after six months, someone will discover that the port doesn't work anymore. Even if we configure it to push the power of a port, it will not work. It's not really, it's not, it's not work. At the same time, the problem was that the tool was very old, like Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise PABX system. In Alcatel, there are only two types of architecture, the old and new ones. For example, on the outside, if there is a need for 24 ports to be implemented on telephony, then we implement less than that number to connect to the end of the phone, which is a very serious problem that is not resolved by the product.

Enterprise routing has delivered advanced security integration and supported AI data centers
The licensing part of Cisco Enterprise Routers is a bit tricky nowadays. With DNA, they have introduced DNA licensing. If they make it more simplistic with respect to customer understanding, I think it would be a good selling point for them. The licensing model could be a bit too high or a bit too complex. They need to make it simplified. It would be good for their business. With respect to enterprise routing, I would like to see additional features in the future to make it closer to a ten. Previously, Cisco has integrated many technologies into their router and multiple security features. However, since they have created a separate firewall product line, Firepower, I still want them to integrate more security features into their enterprise-grade router as well. Content filtering, application control, and website filtering are features that should be integrated into the router. They have multiple options, so with respect to technology, I am expecting that they integrate security more and Voice over IP features more easily into the router. For the customer, this makes their life easier in the sense that a single box can give them multiple solutions. I think they are already providing 5G interfaces, and there are options available.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"An excellent and robust solution for delineating services over a common transport, through the use of IP/MPLS."
"The solution's support is very great."
"This product is very easy to use."
"These routers are stable and I don't know of any problems with them."
"Our experience with customer service and support has been very good."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it makes it possible for users to use encryption and decryption since our company aims to achieve transparency, and without it, the other system on which it is used won't support it."
"The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that the product's overall look and feel is good, making it a user-friendly tool."
"We get a good ROI from this solution because the failure rate is very low, which means customers are happy with the lack of maintenance required."
"It's easy to use, and there is a lot of information available on the internet."
"The most valuable feature is the command prompt, which is very user-friendly."

Cons

"More refinement of network group encryption (NGE)."
"The tool's VPN Firewall Brick did not work well since it doesn't have an interface with the cloud to upload the last signature, so it doesn't have this mechanism."
"The security of the solution could be a bit better."
"Cisco is not granular if we compare it to Juniper."
"This solution is scalable but it does need some improvements."
"Cisco could provide more information about their routers to allow customers a better understanding of their solutions. Cisco Enterprise Routers could improve by having some more advanced features."
"The only other thing we struggled with from time to time is when we were configuring access points through a controller."
"The UI could be more user-friendly."
"Regarding additional features I would like to see in the future to make Cisco Enterprise Routers closer to a ten, I think the challenge lies in pricing, especially regarding licensing, as my clients often complain that it is quite high and almost everything requires a license."
"An area of improvement would be the way the licenses are managed because, at the moment, you pay for a license for each router as opposed to paying a once-off cost."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool's price is very low."
"The price of this solution is high."
"The price is very high."
"Cisco routers are an expensive product."
"For a boost performance license, the cost is $2,000 to $2,500. There is an additional cost for more scalability."
"Cisco Switches are an expensive product in India. Linksys products are cheaper than Cisco Switches."
"It is quite costly. Its price should be reduced."
"If Cisco Enterprise Routers could be less expensive it would be better. In Turkey, clients prefer cheap solutions, but working solutions."
"It's not probably the best solution if you have a very limited budget, as it can become very expensive to have robust equipment."
