Available to users at a very low price but needs improvement in the firewall area
The product is very easy to install. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6200, OmniSwitch 6300, or OmniSwitch 6600, you can install it in an hour and a half quickly without any problem implementing the configuration, but it's not stable. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6400, OmniSwitch 6800, or OmniSwitch 9700, mostly the tools are limited in terms of the protocol. The switch cannot be managed to manage the power of our ethernet. For example, if we connect an iPhone to the switch, 740 watts will be required, but after six months, someone will discover that the port doesn't work anymore. Even if we configure it to push the power of a port, it will not work. It's not really, it's not, it's not work. At the same time, the problem was that the tool was very old, like Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise PABX system. In Alcatel, there are only two types of architecture, the old and new ones. For example, on the outside, if there is a need for 24 ports to be implemented on telephony, then we implement less than that number to connect to the end of the phone, which is a very serious problem that is not resolved by the product.

Solution supports extensive connectivity but faces occasional coverage challenges
Cisco Wireless WAN has room for improvement in WiFi coverage. Sometimes, their coverage is normally good, but at the same area where the access points are deployed, people face continuous disconnectivity issues. These kinds of issues come over time, and we need to do troubleshooting, but they get resolved. This is a performance-related issue, and I think they have to work on that.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution's support is very great."
"An excellent and robust solution for delineating services over a common transport, through the use of IP/MPLS."
"Cisco Wireless LAN has improved a lot of my customers organization; the best part of using the wireless solution is the mobility, where my customers can work together anywhere and anytime."
"It just gives you the ability to use it around the office without being tied up to an actual physical connection."
"Technical support was helpful."
"Our clients are large enterprise companies."
"Cisco Wireless WAN's best feature is the integration with other Cisco products."
"Provides good visibility and insights into what is happening."
"It definitely makes our network and life much easier when using these features."
"We see identity controls solutions so we make sure it's all part of the same management console, with the same authentication, using a multi-high profile defendable wireless system, access ports, and wireless access IDs where each access ID has different kinds of people, different kinds of networks, and the VLAN, and Cisco controllers are now the best in this field."

Cons

"More refinement of network group encryption (NGE)."
"The tool's VPN Firewall Brick did not work well since it doesn't have an interface with the cloud to upload the last signature, so it doesn't have this mechanism."
"There are limitations on the SSIDs that could improve. We cannot enable two ways of authenticating users on one SSID. For a number of places, we have to provide different modes of certification for the user which requires us to create another SSID for the broadcast."
"This is a very expensive solution but there are no additional costs."
"The cost is one of the higher in the industry."
"The interface is a little bit difficult to understand at times. It would be good if Cisco were to make it user friendly so that everyone can easily configure it without the need to do certifications and courses to learn how to use all of the devices."
"Apart from the features and benefits that Cisco Wireless LAN Solution has been given, some areas are still need to be improved."
"It can be complex to set up."
"Pricing is very high with Cisco products. It's something that many people complain about. They should work to make it more affordable."
"Cisco Wireless WAN's interface could be simplified in the future. Simplification would make it more helpful to see how the user is connecting."
