An Easily Deployable and User-Friendly Solution with Rapid Installation
The support of this solution is great. The timeliness of their responses is crucial for me. When I raise an issue, I can count on receiving a prompt reply, eliminating the need for extensive online searches or phone calls. This efficiency is paramount in saving time. In the rare instances where problems arise, they are usually swiftly addressed.

Offers great control and visibility to users, along with availability on the cloud
The other solutions did not offer the visibility that Mojo Networks offered. During the rolling out of the installation process, you have to go through the on-premises model to be able to make some changes. If somebody needs to make necessary changes, you must go to the on-premises model with the initial product. With the cloud solution, you don't have to go for the on-premises model, as you can make the changes over the cloud. The stability offered by Mojo Networks is better than the other products available in the market since, with other tools, you need to keep restarting them frequently, and it may be required once or twice a day, especially if it is used as an enterprise solution or in an enterprise environment, where the traffic is too high, causing the build-up of a lot of cache memory, fill-ups, and SRAM, a reason why one will have to restart such products.

"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"We are very satisfied with the performance."
"OmniAccess Stellar AP1230 Series is better than CISCO highest model Aironet 3800i AP in terms of quality, user capacity, coverage, performance and price."
"With these three types, Alcatel-Lucent can give the client a range of solutions within budget of each, and still guarantee the quality of the solution."
"The solution allows you to see the SNMP packets, the DPI packets, and the SNMP server."
"We deployed them in two hospitals, they benefit from the access of users via Guest Portal and the use of VoWLAN Phones for mobile internal communication."
"With the Captive portal to manage the Guest access is very easy, and with the Spectrum Analysis some very difficult radio issues can be solved with very little effort from my side."
"Their Cognitive WiFi analytics (Mojo Aware) is the biggest feature on their dashboard. It helps us know where the problem, so we don't have to spend time with the customer diagnosing it."
"Arista Wifi (Mojo) is highly scalable with a single pane of glass for management, and its troubleshooting capabilities and deep insights are praiseworthy, which together reduce management efforts and help you achieve a great ROI."
"The technical support for the solution is very helpful."
"The most important feature is ease of use. We can simply take an access point and plug it in, then it is automatically configured for us."
"It does everything we need it to do, and it scales well, it's stable and offers good security."

"Mojo Networks (Arista WiFi) is extremely secure with WIPS, built-in wireless."

Cons

"There are occasional OS bugs."
"Yes, some issues are related to firmware bugs or firmware instability."
"Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar's radio management side could be improved."
"If the customers plan to go on the cloud side, they need encryption and daily communications from a security perspective."
"Simplification of the configuration processes and improvement of the maintenance software OmniVista 3600."
"I would prefer to have the integrated heat map feature provided by the basic controller in the Solution instead of purchasing an external one. Accessing this capability directly within the controller's access point would be convenient."
"The solution needs to improve access for Mac and iOS devices."
"Most customers are asking for an on-premises hardware architecture while it is available as a software-based architecture."
"The renewal costs that come with it are very expensive."
"Technical support could be more helpful. They are lacking a bit in that regard."
"The price should be lowered. It is too high for our country."
"The customer service and support took a lot of time to come on the troubleshooting call."
"My only complaint about this product is its availability. Not many people can stock it and ordering from overseas is a challenge."
"The solution is a bit pricier than Cisco."
"The RF signalling and data analytics parts should be improved."
"The user interface needs improvement to make navigation even more simplistic."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's pricey, but better than similar solutions."
"The price of this product is average and it is a one-time, perpetual license."
"Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar is a mid-range solution with respect to pricing."
"We find the price comparable to other products on the market."
"The price is in the range of other brands like Cisco, maybe a little cheaper but you get the same features, facilities, and security. Licensing is something Alcatel is making changes to. A few years ago you would buy a WLAN solution from Alcatel for half the price of Cisco, but you would spend the same amount on licensing. Today this is different and the licensing is cheaper."
"The tool is cost-effective, according to our sales team's feedback."
"At times, it appears that the solution's pricing is slightly higher. This makes it challenging to persuade customers who primarily focus on the price."
"We have a term that is renewed every three years."
"Since they have only the cloud and on-premises platform, the price looks good compared to the other OEMs like Cisco and Ruckus. For one of the Wi-Fi 6 access points for five years, they might be charging 20,000 to 25,000 INR."
"The pricing was a good value and substantially less than some of the other products that we looked at. In some cases, with some of the big names, this product was even close to half the price."
"In Australian dollars, we buy it for five years at $1,200."
"The license is provided per access point, so you buy an access point and you use it."
"The price of the solution is too high for our country."
"There are other solutions, like Ubiquiti, that have lowered their prices, which sometimes makes the argument to go with them. However, we do not bake in the WiFi for other vendors into our managed services, because they do not meet our standard offering."
"It requires a license and that's a recurring cost and that has a really high cheque value."
