Access to large language models has transformed how our team invokes APIs and creates reports
I may not be the right person to provide this insight or recommendation. I am not really following the progress in it. Some new features may have been implemented and I am not aware of it. I would have to go back to Amazon Bedrock for that information. Working on agentic tools and providing more capability on agentic AI is what was missing at the last time I explored Amazon Bedrock. As I recall now, I found some limitations or some models are not present in Amazon Bedrock sometimes while they are present in other platforms. There are new models that are coming, and sometimes I cannot find them in Amazon Bedrock. The limitation of region sometimes also caused some problems. Some models are found in regions and not in others, and the customers or the clients do not want the model to be hosted in a region different than their own. These are some limitations that we encounter sometimes while working on a product for a specific customer.

I cannot say anything about what areas of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud could be improved or enhanced because so far, we are happy with this implementation. We are not facing any problem, or I cannot say that this can be improved. Although SAP keeps improving themselves day by day, we cannot say that SAP needs to improve anything. One thing which we face, not as a problem, is the pricing. SAP pricing is a bit higher day by day. Before, it was not too much higher, but I don't know why they are increasing their price. They should see this thing, so other customers, such as SMBs customers or small and mid-sized customers, can also avail this thing. Otherwise, we don't have any problem. First, there is the limitation. If you are a SAP user, you don't feel any problem with the limitation because if you know how to use the product, you can easily implement this thing. Otherwise, if you don't know the business process or how to integrate and implement, it could be a problem. We have a limitation, but we developed some add-ons for this. So we fulfilled these requirements.

"Amazon Bedrock is an artificial intelligence engine that allows me to upload analyses of the quality of customer support calls."
"Data encryption while in transit and at rest is managed through Bedrock account."
"The most valuable feature of Bedrock is its security and the model's ability to modify vector dimensions easily."
"Overall, I rate Amazon Bedrock ten out of ten."
"One of the best features of Amazon Bedrock is that it is easy to use, and users do not have to worry about the infrastructure."
"Bedrock proved beneficial for generating SQL queries, which helped in delivering precise information from the database."
"In SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, HANA has the best performance for hosting the data warehouse and analytics solution mainly, and this is the good feature in it."
"The real-time data processing and the ability to track all leasing processes and contracts are particularly valuable."
"The interface is easy to manage."
"Companies have gained more productivity because users take less time to finalize tasks as the data is correct, eliminating the need to double-check information constantly."
"The scalability is good because we have some cloud resources to support the ERP."
"The solution's initial setup process is straightforward."
"Fiori is the most valuable feature, as well as the the integration between S/4 and another solution as an extension."
"Ensuring data integrity across finance, supply chain, and other critical areas is paramount for real-time decision-making. Cons

"As I recall now, I found some limitations or some models are not present in Amazon Bedrock sometimes while they are present in other platforms."
"Amazon native models could proliferate Bedrock in the future. We would welcome Amazon native models to Bedrock since, if they are natively built by Amazon, they are tuned to SageMaker and other Amazon service layers."
"I would appreciate a greater focus on agentic Gen AI applications in Bedrock."
"What could be improved for Amazon Bedrock to make it more mature is that AWS needs to consider bringing their platforms together, and not having different ML and AI platforms."
"Amazon Bedrock is quite highly scalable, but there are some limitations they impose on the accounts, which could be an area for improvement."
"For companies in general, the main pain point or main issue related to Amazon Bedrock is security because they are not confident that all information is hidden by this kind of architecture."

"I would rate the stability a four out of ten. It's an area that could use improvement"
"The price of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud is quite expensive compared to solutions such as Data Fabric in Azure and Redshift on Amazon, which are quite cheap in comparison."
"They should probably offer more cloud services. Most of the cloud infrastructure providers we have make everything pretty transparent, you know what you're getting, you have all these metrics and measurements and everything in the dashboard. Here you have to go through the contracting negotiations and all those things."
"The solution is scalable from an infrastructure point of view. However, it becomes more complex over time because technology is changing so fast."
"This product is not mature enough at this point in time."
"SAP should adopt more rapid changes in market processes and customer needs to deliver solutions that meet new industry requirements swiftly."
"One thing which we face, not as a problem, is the pricing. SAP pricing is a bit higher day by day."
"The stability needs to be improved to be able to handle large amounts of data."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"One customer paid around $100 to $200 per month, which was significant given their overall infrastructure costs."
"The cost of using Amazon Bedrock is quite high, as I incurred unexpected charges amounting to $130 USD within two weeks without actually deploying the model."
"The pricing is reasonable when compared to other vendors like Oracle who offer technology enterprise resource software."
"The licensing of the solution is on a yearly basis. The normal price of the solution is quite high, but I received a special discount by making a purchase near the end of the year."
"The price is on little bit higher. For SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, we see roughly five crores per annum."
"It's very, very expensive."
"The price is expensive compared to the competition."
"The solution's cost is reasonable."
"The solution could be less expensive."
"SAP may not be the most cost-effective option, but it does offer a comprehensive set of tools and features. When you have the right information, structure, and dashboard in place, it can provide excellent value. Additionally, competition with Oracle might be a factor to consider."
