Experienced easy deployment and stable performance but user support needs improvement
The most valuable features are that BetterCloud had a much more sophisticated workflow management toolset than Google itself. It was easy to build onboarding and offboarding workflows, which could handle the desired complexity versus out-of-the-box Google. BetterCloud allowed us to reallocate storage so all files created by a departing member would get reallocated to the manager, thus retaining access. BetterCloud saved help desk time by automating processes, providing a reasonable return on investment. BetterCloud now offers SaaS platform tracking capabilities, a key, previously missing feature.

Data protection and feature-rich capabilities have improved with room for reducing false positives
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is a good product that provides deep fingerprinting capabilities in data exploring and data discovery. They have an excellent feature for discovering data automatically through policies available in their portal, and they excel in data discovery and classification. The solution offers database fingerprinting, file fingerprinting, and script-based policies, along with automatic data discovery exploration. Fingerprinting automatically discovers customer data in our database and, based on sensitivity, detects and blocks the data if someone attempts unauthorized access. Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is a web threat security product offering content inspection and URL filtering with built-in DLP capabilities. It proactively identifies web-based threats using tools such as advanced classification, browser isolation, and malware detection. Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention's solution focuses on internal risks and monitoring user activity to identify abnormal behavior, offering forensic tools such as login and video replay to understand intent. Data classification is an advanced tool we have used for classifying our data. The main feature is AI-powered, called DSP. The classification capability leverages a distributed AI architecture feature and GenAI small language models to classify both structured and unstructured data. It supports 50 file types and continuously improves accuracy with user feedback, enabling auto-discovery across cloud, endpoint, and on-premises data stores without extra cost of repeated scans.

Pros

"BetterCloud saved help desk time by automating processes, providing a reasonable return on investment."
"One of the most valuable features is being able to see file movement, where files are going. Every week we review the files. It can identify software codes, so we code files and we know where they're going and who's doing what. It gives us visibility."
"The incident management and fingerprinting have been the most valuable features."
"This solution has a great encryption feature."
"The real-time analytics feature is helpful. It alerts within seconds and promptly informs management of any potential security issues."
"Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is a user-friendly product, particularly regarding upgrades."
"I like the SaaS solution they're offering now a little bit more. It's a new product but it's easy to install and configure."
"The product is user-friendly."
"The most useful features of Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention are the transfer through Bluetooth can be blocked and the transfer to the cloud-based storage can be blocked. The features are wonderful."

Cons

"The account support team was weak in engagement and communication, contributing to the decision to move to more comprehensive solutions."
"I did not give it a perfect rating because I have seen complex deployment and multiple challenges, such as multiple integrations and servers, including management, protectors, discovery, OCR, and analytics."
"Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention's licensing in Indonesia has experienced delays."
"I'd like the data classification to be better."
"The support could improve Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention."

"The APIs for device integration are limited, so that could be improved."
"Feature requests do take some time to implement."
"There is no support for the Bangla (Bengali) language, so we cannot use the Forcepoint technology for Bangla documents."
