Experienced easy deployment and stable performance but user support needs improvement
The most valuable features are that BetterCloud had a much more sophisticated workflow management toolset than Google itself. It was easy to build onboarding and offboarding workflows, which could handle the desired complexity versus out-of-the-box Google. BetterCloud allowed us to reallocate storage so all files created by a departing member would get reallocated to the manager, thus retaining access. BetterCloud saved help desk time by automating processes, providing a reasonable return on investment. BetterCloud now offers SaaS platform tracking capabilities, a key, previously missing feature.

No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool
Forcepoint enables you to clarify aspects of your data, including which data to protect for how long, what priority to assign to the data and the destinations. It's a comprehensive, dedicated solution. The interface is user-friendly and easy to manage. No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool. You install the agent to your endpoint, and the end user needs to label the data as confidential, private, internal, etc. After you label the document, you can confirm the confidentiality and go to the DLP to make a new policy to block the specified destination addresses at the Forcepoint level, such as network, email, RDP, etc. Forcepoint uses machine learning and AI file or database fingerprinting. This can give you an early chance to prevent incidents fast. File fingerprinting gives you 100 percent accurate DLP results.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"BetterCloud saved help desk time by automating processes, providing a reasonable return on investment."
"The workflow remediation is quite good. That is a key feature because of which it has the upper hand over other DLP solutions."
"The tool is fine for the DLP features, especially when you are on an on-premises model with a data center."
"Forcepoint's data visibility is the most valuable feature."
"The built-in rules, templates, and content classifiers are among the most valuable features. Some of the built-in patterns are good places to get started with. Along with the phrases, they are helpful in putting together policies and fine-tuning our policies."
"We receive a lot of insights from this product."
"The Forcepoint tool is well developed. It is ranked in many evaluations at the top when it comes to enterprise DLP solutions. It has good artificial intelligence that enables our customers to focus on specific incidents, instead of having a complicated list of uncategorized incidents."
"Forcepoint enables you to clarify aspects of your data, including which data to protect for how long, what priority to assign to the data and the destinations. It's a comprehensive, dedicated solution. The interface is user-friendly and easy to manage. No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool."
"The initial setup process went well."

Cons

"The account support team was weak in engagement and communication, contributing to the decision to move to more comprehensive solutions."
"The product is good, but the biggest issue is needing direct support from Forcepoint."
"An area for improvement in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is the complex UI and policy deployment. You have to find the policies, and then designing the policies is also tricky."
"I would recommend aligning OCR with endpoints. This is a highly demanded technology globally, especially for endpoints. Forcepoint should focus on improving this aspect to draw more users from Symantec's side."
"I am really impressed by the interface and management console but the requirements are very high and the response time is too slow."
"You have to monitor the solution all the time."
"The user-friendliness of the interface in formulating DLP policies could be improved. An example would be managing policies. It's a little daunting at first, and can be confusing, at times, when it comes to how to set things up and how to add policies. They could improve on that."
"The main area of concern is the tool's technical support."
"I would like to see the product extended into the cloud as a single solution."

"I rate the tool's pricing a six out of ten."
"I can't comment on the cost, as a different department handles that."
"The licensing is on an annual basis."
"The pricing and licensing fees could be improved."
"They are flexible regarding the pricing and they have a good model for an OEM data classification tool... Forcepoint has been one of the most competitively priced products over the last few years."
"Forcepoint offers a more cost-effective solution because everything, including OCR, is included in one package, unlike Symantec, where it is an add-on with an additional cost."
