Has helped me create clean and structured process maps with a simple setup experience
I have not explored ways Bizagi can be improved beyond creating maps. If I explore automation and integration with other processes, then I may be able to identify potential areas for improvement. I would appreciate additional features for the free version. Currently, the elements in a process map are limited to activities, decisions, flows, and start/end points. The decision map could be improved to allow more than three options at a decision point.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers a free version of their product."
"Business process modelling and simulation."
"The user interface is pretty good."
"I very much like the reusable rules and forms, and the way Bizagi controls the process flow. I also like the document generating system to generate PDFs and then .doc files with information gathered from a flow. At the end of a process, you can generate a document that can be printed."
"With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves."
"The user interface is very good, making it easy for business people to understand."
"The ability to document the entire process within the same diagram and then generate documents in Word, publish on the web for transparency, and perform model simulations has become extremely useful for developing system processes and activity diagrams for technology developers in any area."
"I find Bizagi so user friendly. I also think that its modeling abilities are great and it's easy to teach them to new users."
"A complete project management suite in one integrated package."
"The most valuable feature of SoftExpert BPM is its ease of use."
"We promote the use of this product because it's integrated and has a very nicely designed program, simplifying our workflow and the workflow of our clients, which saves time and money for everyone while making us more productive."

Cons

"This solution will work for certain purposes. I don't believe that it is capable of supporting an enterprise-level organization."
"Yes, sometimes when we execute EXPRESSIONS Xpath, we don't always get the same result."
"The tool is expensive and it should improve its pricing."
"However, if you are looking at building an application where 100 developers are working in parallel, you will have issues."
"A more complex management of documents, such as advanced searches, indexing etc, without needing to integrate with ECM's (Enterprise Content Management Systems)"
"There is lots of instability with V 11.1. We are suspecting configuration management problems on the Bizagi side."
"As I worked with the desktop version of the Bizagi modeler, I was not so comfortable."
"With Bizagi, initial loading is extremely slow."
"I would like for them to incorporate artificial intelligence and be more intuitive."
"It could do more to use all the data it collects to intelligently manage the user experience."
"The form in SoftExpert BPM should improve."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"For the prices, we didn't try a negotiations about licensing or pricing, but if i can say a word about this, I find Bizagi prices to be well thought out."
"Pricing is good value for money."
"I think that its price is reasonable."
"It has a very high price. Many clients complain about the price for maintaining the application on Bizagi."
"The paid version costs us about $20,000 for 100 users annually."
"My company uses the free version of the product."
"When we were working with the on-premises solution, the licenses were a little bit expensive because we had to buy one by one a package of a hundred licenses, whereas now, we are working with the cloud solution, and it has a different cost. It's a different business model because we pay the license for the developers, but the cost is by the environment, and we have unlimited licenses. The business model is different now, but the benefit ratio is good."
"From what I know of the market, I think Bizagi is a cheap solution for process engineering. Out of the solutions I've tried, from cheapest to most expensive, would be Vizor, Bizagi, Signavio, and then Siemens. I used a version of Bizagi that my university provided for free, so I have never paid for a license."
"The price of SoftExpert BPM is not expensive."
