Has helped me create clean and structured process maps with a simple setup experience
I have not explored ways Bizagi can be improved beyond creating maps. If I explore automation and integration with other processes, then I may be able to identify potential areas for improvement. I would appreciate additional features for the free version. Currently, the elements in a process map are limited to activities, decisions, flows, and start/end points. The decision map could be improved to allow more than three options at a decision point.

This is a RAD tool to build business apps, tables, and forms.
It needs a desktop version for developers with license type CE. I would like to have the possibility to have a CE that lets me migrate from SQL Server Express, Access, and OpenOffice Base and keep all UI front-end development in just one system. In short, the 6.7 was good enough. The question is: Will there always be a desktop version CE that will let me work with, for example, five users for free, and then start to pay from user six, or in my case, three users? Right now, I do not see WaveMaker in this field, and there are others points to ask for from a desktop.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable features of the solution are the process modeling part and process simulation."
"Bizagi has the capability to import-export with various modelling notations."
"The interface, design, and accessible user manuals to help get started using the solution are valuable features in Bizagi."
"Bizagi is a very powerful business process management engine, and you can take very niche processes and map them completely using the Bizagi engine."
"The design of the studio is the solution's most valuable feature."
"This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company."
"I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited. However, while it's unlimited use, some features aren't available."
"In Bizagi, all of the features are valuable."
"It is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool to build business apps that lets you work with many diverse data stores and build tables and forms easily."

Cons

"The solution was very limited."
"For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy."
"We have migrated to the cloud, but there are a lot of issues while integrating with the cloud. There are a lot of things to improve with the cloud and reporting. We were previously working with on-premise solutions, and we had access to a lot of things, but with the cloud, they changed a lot of functionalities. Some of the things we know, but with some of the things, we are having difficulties."
"For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented."
"In terms of what needs improvement, the costs can be lowered."
"It is difficult to drive ROI on types of processes involving complex business rules."
"Governance is lacking, as with many easy-to-use tools. The scalability could be improved as well."
"They should improve the migration process between major versions, from version 9 to 10, we had to redo our implementation."
"It needs a desktop version for developers with license type CE."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is expensive."
"We use the free version of the solution because the price is in dollars, making it expensive for where we are in Brazil."
"The price could be lower."
"The product must improve its cost."
"I used to be very pleased with the pricing. Now, it's a bit more complicated. I don't remember exactly, however, it might be $10 a month per user."
"I think that its price is reasonable."
"I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
"When we were working with the on-premises solution, the licenses were a little bit expensive because we had to buy one by one a package of a hundred licenses, whereas now, we are working with the cloud solution, and it has a different cost. It's a different business model because we pay the license for the developers, but the cost is by the environment, and we have unlimited licenses. The business model is different now, but the benefit ratio is good."
