Remote Access Security Reinforced with Real-Time Device Protection
Dashboard customization is needed for improvements. While the centralized management is strong, the dashboard could offer more flexibility. It would be helpful to tailor views for different roles, such as IT or security support. Regarding needed improvements, custom report building could be enhanced. Current reports are informative, and a drag-and-drop builder would allow teams to create tailored views for compliance, executive summaries, or operational metrics. For further improvements, enhancing threat simulation and testing would be valuable. Building a threat simulation tool and adding native capabilities to simulate phishing, malware, or ransomware scenarios will help teams validate protection and train users without relying on third-party tools.

Security suite has protected individual devices from threats, while installation and network features require improvements
BIG-IP is actually the LTM, Link Load Balancer, which comes with ASM, meaning Application Security Module. It consists of multiple modules, such as ASM, SWG, and a domain DNS manager. ZoneAlarm allows defining trusted and public networks, which helps maintain security in public Wi-Fi environments. It offers comprehensive protection, securing PCs against threats. Users do not experience any system slowdowns while scanning. Harmony Browser protects all your browsing activity and is bundled with Harmony Endpoint and Harmony Connect. It provides a small but effective security layer and sometimes comes packaged with the larger Harmony suite.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform works on its own and it does not need to have an assigned employee to monitor how it's working, thus bringing efficiency into our company."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint has positively impacted our organization by both improving efficiency and reducing incidents."
"So far, our security has been 100 percent, we have not felt that a data breach has happened, so we are pretty happy with SandBlast Agent."
"Checkpoint antivirus blade has improved our customers security postures by enhancing their malware detection, reduced risk of cyber attacks and also by stopping threats before they reach users by scanning files at the network gateway."
"We have found the stability to be very reliable."
"This is a good product and one that I recommend."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint has positively impacted our organization by helping to reduce incidents by catching threats early before users even noticed them, which saved us time and lowered risk across the board."
"If you have Check Point firewalls on your infrastructure, this is the best solution to deploy because it's just to enable a Blade."
"The product's most valuable feature is the detection engine due to its ability to identify threats."
"It is quick and easy to configure."
"It is easy to use through interfaces and easy to configure each of the customizations we created based on the characteristics that we wanted."
"The phone access scan stands out as the most valuable feature for me."
"Personally, I find the Game Mode of the Firewall very useful."

Cons

"Performance and resource consumption should be reduced."
"I think Check Point Harmony Endpoint could be improved as I dislike the management interface because it's not intuitive, it lacks real-time reporting without configuring smart events, and it made administration less efficient."
"From an improvement perspective, the major challenge we've faced with Harmony is the support."
"When starting, we faced many issues. It was due to a partner mistake, however. The partner gave us the wrong setup which caused laptops to crash and it lowered the efficiency."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint can be improved because sometimes the agent feels heavy, causing slowness in our PC, so that can be improved."
"Currently, you can only have general reports of the threats removed and the behavior of the database. You cannot get separate reports of the Check Point service-linked devices."
"It needs to include built-in deployment. This will make the job easier rather than having to go and dig up an Active Directory deployment along with policy objects."
"There is no real scalability."
"Perhaps the primary area for potential enhancement is to make it faster, ensuring a more seamless experience while maintaining robust security features."
"I have used it in the past for personal desktops and for systems at small startups, but I would not recommend it as an enterprise level firewall security solution."
"I would like it to be integrated with the Check Point centralization solution like Infinity Portal. It would be great to be able to manage it through the same website."
"They should release a single update with all the necessary characteristics to avoid being in a cycle of consecutive updates."
"Currently, the client is only available for the Windows Operating System but it would be good if it were released for Mac OS as well."
