One-click meeting access and seamless integration enhance video conferencing experience
Cisco TelePresence could improve the WebRTC connections, as they are quite slow. The end user experiences delays when using WebRTC, sometimes taking one minute or more to receive a connection. This issue is mainly due to Cisco taking a long time to download and start the WebRTC client on their devices. Ensuring it is embedded in the device could help.

I would definitely want the chat in Zoom to be improved. I have seen areas of improvement in Zoom regarding the noise suppression setting. Sometimes I talk a bit low pitched and the other person cannot hear me. I'm guessing the noise suppression detects my voice as background noise instead of my actual voice. It might be a setting that I just need to tweak somewhere in the settings window. I haven't had the time to check that out yet. It happens from time to time; it's not crucial, but I check that the other person hears me by asking them if they heard what I just said. It occurs at least once daily, so it's not bothering to me, but to someone who is a bit more sensitive, it may be bothersome. I find it hard to tell if there has been any return on investment with Zoom because I'm not dealing with the financials of our organization. I guess it helped us because whenever there's an incident at night and people need to synchronize to find out what's going on, they enter Zoom and talk to each other.

"Telepresence's most valuable feature is keeping highly paid employees, such as executives, on the ground instead of wasting time flying around the world. So if you have the right telepresence plan and form, it's not just the video cameras and the systems behind them, it's the way you lay out your meeting room. You can have multiple offices interconnecting in a single meeting, and it looks like everybody's in the same big conference room together because the telepresence yields such a fantastic amount of clarity."
"The SpeakerTrack feature is the most valuable feature."
"The most valuable features of Cisco TelePresence are the basic standard features and the ease of use. Additionally, the configuration and integration are exemplary."
"Zoom is easy to use and does not require much network bandwidth. Additionally, it does not require a lot of configuration which is very good."
"The solution is great it meets all of our needs, most people have the solution, and it is convenient to use."
"The screen sharing feature is valuable. It is easy to set up a meeting if you are on a call with a non Teams user if you need to do screen sharing."
"The initial setup is straightforward as this is a cloud application. It only takes a few seconds."
"You don't need to be technical in order to use it."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The collaboration features are good."
"The setup is rather simple and straightforward."

Cons

"The tool is expensive."
"MX800 comes only with one available DVI port. A few more HDMI ports will improve the system's capability."
"Cisco TelePresence could improve the WebRTC connections, as they are quite slow."
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a three out of ten, with ten being expensive. It was complex with badges and certificates. Too crazy."
"The price of Cisco TelePresence overall should be reduced."
"I was in touch with one of our clients and they mentioned that they would like to have a holographic video conferencing. It would be great if that feature would be added."
"Cisco TelePresence could improve its integration capabilities."
"The calling features can be improved."
"I think there are aspects that need to be developed. While I haven't identified specific areas for improvement yet, I believe it could add many new AI features, which is why I wouldn't give it 10 out of 10."
"The time limitations for the free version should be increased from 40 minutes."
"While the communication and video-audio conferencing features on Zoom are excellent, unlike Microsoft Teams, there is no direct integration with SharePoint. For us, that is the disadvantage of Zoom."
"The solution is not very useful for chat and lacks highlighting functionality."
"In the next release, I would like to see better security."
"The video quality should be better. Sometimes when there are updates at the backend, Zoom won't respond properly during that time."
"The performance could be better."
"The tool could be more user-friendly, especially for finding options to present screens."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of Cisco Telepresence is high, especially in Brazil. However, the quality of the product justifies the cost."
"I will rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"We used high definition, 1080p, but again, it required license purchases. For example, with three licenses (TP licenses), each allowing one 1080p screen, if I had six participants, I'd need to lower the resolution to 720p or lower to accommodate more participants. More licenses meant more cost."
"The pricing is expensive, therefore I rate it an eight out of ten."
"Cisco TelePresence license is expensive and should be reduced. There is only a cost for the license and it is annually."
"The cost for Zoom is reasonable."
"There is a licensing fee and although the price is fair, it can be a little cheaper."
"There are both free and paid versions available."
"A licensing fee is required."
"The personal version that I was using is available free of charge."
"There is some basic functionality that's free but if you want to host longer meetings and have more participants, then there is a licensing fee."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
"I am using the free version."
