Hourly orchestration has cut idle compute waste and gives our AI teams rapid on‑demand training
CloudDat is a great solution and has given us a great return. One thing as a suggestion is that while tracking the hourly usage is very precise, the dashboard threshold alert can sometimes experience a lag of ten to fifteen minutes. This occasionally makes the proactive cut-off automation tighter than ideal. For example, if I am opting for a two-hour auto cut-off, sometimes it is detecting that it is there, and there is a fifteen-minute lag. The cut-off is basically either fifteen minutes before or fifteen minutes after. There is a chance of a mismatch in the billing due to this, which can be improved. The rest is fine. The billing issue which I highlighted is something very critical sometimes. When we are a regular customer and we are working with CloudDat, sometimes it is very disappointing to see that there is a lag in the subscription. This is why I have given it a four.

Has enabled secure, centralized file sharing while saving significant time and resources
The best features in GoAnywhere MFT are that it's fast, reliable, and secure. First, the improvement is that we have resolved one of our security points with compliance. So that compliance point we resolved. And also it's a centralized file sharing system. All the users are able to access the file. There is no one-to-one sharing. It's improved about 80 to 85%. It saves about 80 to 90% resources. In terms of time, we can say 90 to 95% time is also saved because it avoids the one-to-one sharing and simply a user can put one centralized directory and all the users are able to access this solution and access the file. So it's 95%.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CloudDat has reduced our infrastructure spend by seventy-two percent as compared to our previous baseline reserved instance approach."
"Time-saving is one of the most crucial and one of the best features over here in CloudDat."
"It is very easy to use. It is easy to create projects in a graphical environment. The configuration and the setup of the environment is very easy"
"The most valuable features are the automatic processing of files and scheduled execution of the files."
"The aspects I appreciate most about GoAnywhere MFT are that many things are all in one platform, as I can use it for file transfer, for security purposes, for audit purposes, managing files across my team, and managing automation-based tasks."
"GoAnywhere MFT saves at least 60% of my time per week or per month."
"GoAnywhere MFT meets all these needs, which is why we decided to use it."
"What I appreciate most about GoAnywhere MFT is the threat protection feature, whereby before transferring files anywhere, I am able to first make the file analysis and confirm there are no threats or malware in the files."
"My favorite feature of GoAnywhere MFT is encryption because when we use other products, files are not encrypted, and when there are critical files that we are transferring, they should be encrypted in transit and also at rest."
"The workflow features eliminate the need for custom programs and scripts for file transfers, and the impact has been huge and has saved us many months of engineering time."

Cons

"Improvement-wise for CloudDat, I think some days there is some latency."
"The billing issue which I highlighted is something very critical sometimes."
"The security could be upgraded to address novel cyberattacks. I'm not sure whether the product's security is being updated periodically."
"Sometimes we use GoFast in GoAnywhere MFT because there are many failures or server issues."
"There's not a lot of improvement I can think of. Maybe in the tools section, they have an SQL Wizard and a URL Wizard, which are really good. I think that the SQL Wizard might need some improvement. I don't know how to improve it, but it's just a little slow here and there."
"The UI of GoAnywhere MFT could be a bit crisper because sometimes it gets tricky to find where to look for information."
"While GoAnywhere MFT is a strong platform, there are a few areas where improvement could enhance the overall user experience."
"I want to be able to use GoAnywhere to create customizable reports that I can share with the MSP containing any information related to file transfers."
"The interface could be more customizable."
"GoAnywhere MFT is almost perfect, but I feel that the initial setup takes some effort."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The product is not cheap, but it is not expensive."
"For what we pay to GoAnywhere every year, we are getting a fantastic deal. From a dollar perspective, it provides very good value."
"When it comes to secure systems that we have used, the price point can get a whole lot higher. You might end up saving in the short term with other solutions, but are you getting a secure product? Do you feel confident in that? Will you be able to get any support afterward? From my experience, based on the price point and the service that we got, it was a good value for our money."
"It has flexible and affordable pricing because of custom quotes. The prices depend on the modules one needs and the volume of data being transferred. Overall, they offer custom and flexible pricing with an annual subscription, where you pay for specific features and functionality required."
"To have a solution like this for the price we're paying makes it cheap. Considering the time that it has saved us, and considering the development that we don't need to do, such as connectors and handling servers, the price is really affordable."
"The cost of GoAnywhere versus the value it brings to our data transfer operations is reasonable... The cost is relatively expensive but, back to the car analogy, that's to be expected with a Ferrari."
"The pricing for GoAnywhere MFT seems reasonable when compared to other similar services, especially cloud services. Azure is significantly more expensive."
"It would be good for the company to explore a modular approach to selling the product so it could be cheaper and more attractive to users."
